When are we getting character services sales? The last one I remember was in WoD! Since a lot of Allied Races have been added plus realms dying etc isn’t about time Blizz did these sales? They would surely make a lot of money. And technically these character services are literally a switch press so they can make a lot of money for little effort.
Anyone else want this?
The thing is, they’re already making a lot of money already in character services. Especially with race changes, faction changes and name changes. So they probably find no need to boost sales.
If Blizzard offered this, for anyone who doesn’t rp on Argent Dawn, so they could finally leave. I’ll take it.
It shouldn’t be as expensive as it is to start off with.
In 2017 they actually raised the prices of most services with €5 (and boosts with €10, was it?).
I believe the price they said it’s because it’s not something they want to make easy for a player to do. But for those who need it the most it’s there.
I guess as some sorta method to discourage realm/faction hoppers etc etc

They could have just as easily limited the amount of times you could use it instead.

they will likely never do one again.
Why?.. because last time they did Alliance Dropped numbers massively, blizzard know if they put it on promotion the Faction balance will get even worse. we may see a Sale on Race changes upon SL Release when they remove the Rep requirements.
pre that they’d likely lose money comparitively, as the playerbase currently is much smaller then what would walk into SL.
They’ll make sales when they need to squeeze cash out of a product that isn’t selling much (for example, BFA on sale by the end of the expansion).
They’ll increase prices on something that’s getting purchased a lot. To squeeze more cash out.
The idea is squeezing cash, the more the merrier.
Sadly, that’s where most of the game industry is at right now in terms of market strategy.
They should discount faction transfers in one direction per realm to incentivise players to spread out.
