After months of hoping it would fix on it’s own (it didn’t) I finally decided I wanna address an issue that’s nagging me for some time.
Websites like wowprogress, warcraftlogs, raider/io use the Blizzard API so they can pull information for our characters. And for the past few months there’s been a bug with mine.
My character is being shown as still part of a guild that no longer exists (Presence of Mind) and my former one (Stasis).
So what did you try to change it, you’d ask? Well, I did try to use those websites wherever I can to change guilds (like in warcraft logs, I left both guilds and was hoping it would refresh with the right one), I tried reconnecting my char with my account and refreshing in hopes of fixing it - but it didn’t.
Nothing that I could think of helped. So I messaged with one of those website’s creators to ask them what’s happening and after a quick check - they admitted the wrong ( obviously) but they said that the mistake lays into the Blizzard API for the character. I tend to believe it since two of those sites were showing the same wrong information.
I contacted a GM through a ticket and got redirected to an American forum thread where this bug would’ve been better posted, but I think this is the closest EU one I can get since my account is EU not US.
Is there anything I can do to help resolve the issue? Lmk. But can we please resolve it as my patience is getting low as this has been a thing for awhile now.

I’m a bit confused about your issue here.
Our Armory page shows your character as it is now, and I have actually visited all three websites that you mentioned, and your character appears to be updated there. In all three you are shown as your character is in the current guild that you are now and with the current gear and progress.
Could you maybe help us understand what is it, that is not updated?
So according to the API - I’m still there every now and then. And it’s mildly infuriating.
I guess according to warcraft logs’ guy it’s mostly Presence of Mind that’s bugging up as that’s the thing I got mostly pointed out to.

There seems to be no issue for the last month or so, so I guess resolved.
