Character transfer cooldown (Would have been lovely if mentioned in in-game shop)

Edit: GM Replied within like 1 hour. Cannot make an exception to remove cooldown and honestly I think it doesn’t matter because heres the crucial thing: The cooldown is 72 hours so I didn’t read properly. The cooldown is 30 days if you switch it from one account to another AND switch the realm. That’s much more reasonable. Nonetheless I am going to submit the feedback via the respective medium, that they should add a notice inside the in-game shop, just like they did with race change, that there is a cooldown. It’s not hard to do and it’s most definitely going to avoid mistakes like mine.

Switched my char from Garrosh to Silvermoon to join a friend, was about to create a guild too. Unfortuantely did not visit it beforehand, for a couple hours just to get a feel for it,. Lost motivation to do it on that server after a day, since it is filled with robots, sepcially robots which constantly spam /2. and /4. and on my old server at least trade was still usable but on this one it was an instant mute.

Now I bought another couple transfers for future occasions, might wanna try RP too and may happen to not like it and switch back.

Nowhere in the shop it said anything about a cooldown, unlike on services like the “Race change” for example, where it clearly stated that there is, in fact, a cooldown.

So naturally I thought there is no cooldown.

There is no topic for this in the ticket “system” so how am I supposed to write a ticket about this? Remember when a ticket was literally just a rough category and a text input? Good old times.

I would say “give feedback” is the best match, but thats not all I would write a ticket for. I would like the cooldown to be removed in this special case, because it is not cool to not say anything about it and then make me wait 30 days for blizzard technically unintentionally scamming me into buying a service I cannot use the way I expected to.

I’m not sure if a GM will remove the cooldown but it would need a ticket to find out. I realise you are having trouble creating one.

Edit: I marked your answer as the defacto solution :slightly_smiling_face:, as all I wanted to do before I came here was contact a GM or submit a ticket explaining my problem, which ended up in just a little bit of rant one might claim.

As for the “mentioning” of the cooldown, I said in the title, that I am talking about the in-game shop. I bought it in-game. Nowhere in the process of buying the service was the mention of a cooldown, at least not that I am aware. The link you provided is what I found after doing research, seeing the error in-game :slight_smile:
