Character Transfer not working?

I’ve been trying to transfer my character to a another Battletnet account. I’m aware that both Battlenet accounts need to have the same owner which is the case and I’ve also bought Dragonflight on the new account but for some reason I’m still getting this error message:

“Error: The destination account must have been created by the same person as the origin account.”

Really can’t figure out what’s going on and I haven’t received any answers from customer support after 3 days.

Do your names match on both accounts?

Yes they do.

Is this purchase finished on your new account?

Currently the answer time is about 2~ weeks. For purchase related problems you may be placed in a prioritised queue, but it may still take awhile.

Yes Dragonflight has already been purchased and “activated”

When you’re transferring, it could be that when you tried it initially from a DF expansion account A to B without it, it blocked it with a different error code.

You could retry again and if it still fails you may need GM support to earmark both accounts as yours.

To be sure I included the Character Transfer infos below:

Account Restrictions

  • You cannot transfer a character to or from a Starter Edition account
  • You cannot transfer a character to or from a suspended, banned, or closed account
  • You cannot transfer a character from an account with the latest expansion to an account without the expansion
  • If you have WoW accounts in two regions, you cannot transfer a characters between them

Still not working and I’ve still not received an answer after 4 days either. Can’t play DF now because I only bought DF for the new account.

iv done all this and im getting the same error message and the support from EN and US GM are say the same thing now like that helps even if you sent them proof of the account’s still make you wait for age’s time wasted on a game you pay for and not playing much i just cant be a’ss as this its not fun for anyone and it pissing a lot of people off that there pay out more for two account not able the get both accounts gold packs like me iv got one not gold and it a rip off how the support do nothing about at all.
Iv try asking them to move all my games to the new or old battle.net wont do it if you stream as proof they don’t care they just discriminating you like the did to me if we 're not full time streamer’s or they cant understand the person problem’s all they tell you is what they really dont want to hear make you wait report more ticket’s so the there back log oh just head’s up screenshot’s you ticket’s if your ticket’s been remove or missing AKA Delete then your safe as the last GM told me sending a ticket with attachment of proof get delete after open it once make no sense
