Character Transfer

Returning to the game in 2024 after 10 years. Now I have seem to have one main account with Blizzard - but within I have two sub-accounts with my characters and alts on them. Back in the day - I used to play with family member so we both needed separate subs and accounts.

Today however it’s just me and I want to consolidate my characters so I can access them with a single subscription.

Characters are all on the same realm. And they all share the same Warband and achievements. In other words, all the things that supposed to be account-wide do indeed appear on characters on both these sub-accounts.

So they are ON the same account. So I’m not asking for a character transfer to another account or realm.

In addition, I bought 3 character transfer tokens, but I was unable to use them to transfer the characters. I had to purchase a subscription before they became
usable (not stated in the terms before purchase which I read several times). Which means I have to pay for two active subs plus character transfer to move them. That’s just not reasonable. Also I still don’t know IF it will achieve the desired effect.

I tried to request a refund because I couldn’t use them, but the response was they couldn’t do that because the tokens were used.

I tried to respond to that ticket but got a persistent error message preventing me.

So when they ask me to “Return to Azeroth” or “Upgrade to TWW” guess what my response is?

If you haven’t used the transfers you may be able to refund them using the refund service on the support site:

From what I understand it is possible to transfers characters between WoW accounts on the same battle. net account but the store page does say you need a subscription and there are many other restrictions too.
