For real, I’ve lost the count on how many times it happened for I think last couple of years. I had to relog because I wanted to update tmog on my main at forum, and right after 12.0.7 landed, I could only see my two classic characters again. After bunch of relogs, I’ve lost one of them too and now can only use this toon.
But yeah, maybe people will ignore all the bugs if you’ll flood ‘em with tons of oneshot content every two months.
What a mess.
Yesterday happened. Then today again and stucked.
I’m still stuck with transmog I was wearing back in January.
I have accepted my fate for now, I have no other posting characters available to me.
No amount of logging in and out and clearing cookies has resolved the issue this time. I am just going to be this throw away character for a while.

It seems the armory is not retrieving any retail characters, tho even Classic ones are not all visible, I can only choose from 2.
I don’t have any choice at all, it’s this or nothing
But I don’t really play the Classics, I tried to start with but it’s just too tedious for me. I can’t go back to old systems.
We deserve a free month of WoW for this mental distress!!

It’s picking the least played characters for some reason. I played the panda to get the Jade Emperor serpent mount and I haven’t played this mage since Wrath Classic. I have no other options even tho I have others on Classic Anniversary that I played more recently. 
Yeah it’s the only character it will offer me, my get Retail rewards from doing something in Classic 
Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.
Have you guys tried clearing all blizzard-related cookies too when reloging?

What on earth, I LITERALLY posted 2 minutes ago as my main character, how did the forums switch back to this??
It’s a sign of what’s to come. Blizzard are deleting Retail and forcing us all into Classic instead. 
I did like 3 time log out and log in back. Dont get back my main.
Before worked, now cant. We are stucked classic/mop classic

I suggest to leave stuff be and let it fix itself. I went and logged into Pandaria Classic to look at what chars I still had there and thought it might reset some things. But when I logged back into Retail it sent me to realm list first and my realm wasn’t at the top like it usually is, I had to scroll down to it and it didn’t show the number of characters I had on it in the list either, like I usually does either. It looked like when you select your realm for the first time when you have no characters at all, so for 5s while I selected the realm and waited for the character list to load I had a mini-heart attack wondering if my chars were gonna be there or if some bug had deleted them. Very not fun.
For the transmog, I have found due to the new system it will only use the first outfit you have. So I have now designated that my “forum” outfit.
What have I become?!

Yeah, that’s what happened to me too. Thought i was safe.
