My chat is completely broken on this specific character. I can see and use /say, and I can type /1 Hello (which shows up for me), but I cannot see anyone else’s text in public channels (General/Trade), and my chat box remains completely empty.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:
- Tested completely without any addons installed.
- Deleted the chat-cache.txt file in the WTF folder.
- Reset CVars using /console cvar_default and used /chatdefaults.
- Toggled the Mature Language Filter on/off and checked language filters.
- Joined large groups in Group Finder to force a phase/shard change.
