when I press enter, chatbox always works in “say” mode. If I try to say something in a group, I always have to use /p.
To answer somenone in conversation etc. I always have to use a command to answer. Is there a way to fix this?

Your problem is that chat defaults to /say, even though your previous message was in something else like /p?
I would try disabling all addons first. If the problem goes away, enable them a few at a time until the problem resurfaces. Then when you’ve found the culprit, update the addon if you haven’t, go through the settings if there are any, and see if it can be fixed that way. Otherwise, if it looks like the addon is still being maintained, report the problem to the author. If not, you’ll have to ask yourself if the benefits of the addon outweigh the bug.
P.S. There is a Chat Reply bind to whisper whoever whispered you last. Default is R.
