Yup. Cheat death prevents 1 attack.
Let’s say Berny has 50 hp and moonfire dot > the next tick deals damage > cheat death activates and saves Berny > hp remains at 50 > next moonfire tick kills Berny.
279 resilience and still the same as 20 resilience.

You poor, poor underpowered rogues.
My heart bleeds for you.
It must be rough only having a massive chance to dodge via Evasion and near immunity vs spells too via Cloak.
Literally the BEST CC in the entire game in sap, blind, gouge, stuns.
A ranged and melee interrupt against spells.
One of the best abilities to “reset” a fight or simply flee if you’re losing.
Ontop of stealth giving you the option to not even fight should you choose not to while also granting you the “surprise” opener for free every time.
You guys have it so rough.

Cheat Death: This talent has been rebalanced significantly. Killing blows are no longer 100% absorbed. If the Rogue is below 10% health, the killing blow is still completely absorbed; if the Rogue is over 10% health, enough damage will be absorbed to reduce the Rogue’s health down to 10%. For the following 3 seconds, damage is not always reduced by 90%; it is now reduced by a maximum of 90%, depending on how much resilience the Rogue has. The damage reduction will be four times the damage reduction resilience causes against critical strikes.
Are you familiar with this? How much resilience are you packing? By the looks of that gear, not too much?

Nice post Valkia, good read but I think you completely miss the point of this topic. It is about cheat death being bugged (which is true), not about comparing classes. Good try.
While we are at it, it is completely fine that rogue is the best pvp class. It is also the worst pve class. Balanced.

Once you get a ton of T6 type gear with ARP and perhaps a set of glaives rogues can do quite good DPS tho.
And Cheat Death doesn’t make you immune to dmg even while it’s up, you’re supposed to be able to die still, it does absorb the first killing blow tho.
its not, ppls just dont know how to play it in PVE. Nabs.

It’s somewhat useful on its own, but resilience is what makes it work really good.
No, my point is that it isn’t bugged.
