I mean, you do realize a lot of people’s RP chars aren’t geared, right? Since you don’t need a specific level to RP, a lot of people just don’t bother.

Yeah, people usually have a main they do content on, but they might not RP on that character. Plus, going out of your way to pause RP to entertain someone who’s purposefully trying to ruin your fun isn’t that good of an idea. (Since you’re basically giving them what they want)

I agree, it will call on my list, as does a raider io and I do not support this. The raider io it is accept because you must create an account to link the character, check pvp, unacceptable as you must create an account to unlink the character. It tells your list before you may be aware it is existence.

Are they selling your private information? How are they getting hold of your real name, address, phone number etc?

Or do you mean they are just showing your alts, something you can opt out of? In game characters are not private information I’m afraid. Incidentally my alts are easily visible on sites like wowprogress and you could probably find them on sites like the pvp one, only four are linked to me so far on there though. Not that I’ve made any secret of my characters and they’ve often been posted as a screenshot by myself.

Why is it so important that people can’t see your alts?

Literally just tick the checkbox that says “yeah uh don’t show my character data to third party sites and stuff” in your battlenet account settings
