"checking rio", why do people say this?

When they obviously don’t actually check rio?

Means that if you have 1000 and the other DPS 1500 you won’t be taken

No, I had some guy arguing with me that my paladin on horde is an alt character add thus I can’t perform as well(even though the gear is similar ilvl as tanks).

Yes, so what if it’s an alt? I play paladin on alliance too. It’s not like it’s a new class to me. But he didn’t bother actually checking rio and seeing that paladin is the class my main is. Similar gear level and done dungeon he had a key for 4 lvls higher on +2 as tank on alliance but no, because it’s an alt I can’t perform as well, because REASONS.

Stupid people abound. “checking rio”, yeah right. Instead they sit there going 30 minutes with no tanks, will probably disband instead of doing the dungeon because “it’s an alt” when I wanted to smash it on my paladin on horde.

in my opinion its maybe to warn people that it might take a little longer until they are accepted.

whether this is true and they actually check rio or not, nobody knows.
i personally avoid such groups alltogether.

Or, simply : it’s no use queueing if your RIO is bad and you think I’m going to check your iLvL only.

Oh yeah, I totes need more than 1476 to do a dungeon on 10 that I’ve done 14 on this char on, on +2 as tank, with similar ilvl gear as my horde paladin. I’ll totally perform that much worse that I can’t even do a 10 because it’s an alt(of same class).

No, he just didn’t actually check rio to see that they’re the same classes. Despite saying “checking rio”.

Yes.

Yeah,i would say that most of them don’t actually check it ,so it’s more of a "deterrence " attempt toward low rio people.

yeah, and to sort the impatient people out. :joy:

I think, I think it means they’re checking raider,io.

Either that or they’re bull{REDACTED}ing so they have a fake excuse to decline you.

I always check out Rio.

Always dancing in the sun.

I disrespect rio score alot, and also this score proves nothing, because people buy rio boosts like they buy bread in store for their morning breakfast, all this score did is created discrimination in game, so boosting services find customers easier…

If they did, would they still invite you? :upside_down_face:

Waiting is better than depleting

There’s no need for an excuse. I can invite to my key whoever I want. I can even invite by mog if I want to.

You know what? I’ll list my key tomorrow. “AD+17 checking mog”

Just check the amount of keys timed in your bracket. If it’s much much more than 12, it’s probably not a boostee.

Dont forget realm first achi from algalon, just to be sure!

Oh yeah, because it would totally deplete when I’ve done it 4 keys higher(that was +2 as well) on this char than on my horde paladin, with similar ilvl as tanks.

Looking him up, he never did the run. So they either had a leaver and the group fell apart or they never got started.

Well it’s his key and he didn’t trust you for it.

Then he should have said so instead of arguing it’s an alt char and I won’t perform as well as on my main.

Both chars are paladins. Both chars have similar gear as tanks. But because it’s not my main, I’ll perform worse, because reasons.

That’s what bothers me about it. He didn’t actually check rio, despite claiming to do so. If he did, he would have seen both chars are paladins. So, no, “alt will perform worse” is kind of a faulty reasoning. I’ll perform just as well on my horde paladin as I do on my alliance paladin, I don’t suddenly forget the routes I’ve already done just because I switch to a horde paladin.

he was just mad ur alliance

There is the addon that shows R. Io score. I always check that before inviting. Maybe that’s the “checking” everyone does. It gives an indication of the player score and skill, more often it means jack&*it but it Reduces the risks
