Choice advise

Hello,

I am telling you straight, I do not understand anything in these but I hope the one who knows can help me.

Thinking to buy Laptop but there are 2 options obviously one is more expensive and bit cheaper version.

I need one which will run smooth, for example, my current laptop says recommended 7 in graphic option in WOW but when I put 7 I cannot even walk.

First cheaper one is this:

  • Intel Coffee Lake Core i5-9300H
  • 3GB GDDR5 Nvidia GTX1050
  • 15.6 "FHD 1920x1080 IPS Matte LED Display
  • 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 2666MHz
  • 256GB SAMSUNG PM981 M.2 SSD

Another one is:

  • Intel Coffee Lake Core i7-9750H
  • 4GB GDDR5 Nvidia GTX1650 128-Bit
  • 15.6 "FHD 1920x1080 IPS Matte LED Display
  • 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 2666MHz
  • 256GB M.2 SSD SATA 3

Yet again telling need for maximum/ultra graphics I just want to enjoy it not wait 30 mins for loading screen.

Thank you

The first choice is better than the one I am playing on, so it can run WoW.

Since it is better than mine I don’t know if it will experince some of the heating problems and screen blackouts I can experince when I shuffle between programs.

My guess is that it can, but I also needed to download new graphic drivers before I could play WoW when I returned - so a setup for it to update automaically can be a thing you should do when you get the computer.

I am a bit unsure about how much better the other computer you listed is, although I think you will be able have a smooth gameplay

I don’t how to advise you on a buy here, because I always buy with the price in mind
I find the cheapest one that just have reached any recommendations for what I need it to, and then I torture it

Second option has the better CPU, so that’s the main ‘win’… even if the second one had the graphics of the first one, you’d still be in ‘win’ territory - don’t expect the machine to not run at ‘space heater’ levels, mind…
