Funny, your description of a fairly generic kind of a Pandaren Monk came to mind for me the other day while I was listening to this old soundtrack, the first few songs especially.

I think this just works as a relaxing kind of "taking it easy" yet slightly tranquil vibe. Typical Pandaren deal, sitting there in the lotus position, sipping at some tea while meditating.

3:50-5:10

This feels like it could work for the Monk as he's going out on a journey, a quest of sort, some kind of adventure scenario in true Azerothian fashion!

5:10-5:20

This little interlude here is where something appears to have gone awry ... his Monk-sense is tingling and he knows something's about to go down.

5:20-8:25

This is where some manner of enemy has made themselves known to him, and he knows it's about to get real and come to blows.

8:25-9:09

He's just after taking out a bunch of goons and lackeys, and now he has to confront the main villain who has revealed himself!

Aaand, we'll leave it there. I just think it has a heavy Chinese feeling kind of vibe that would suit such a character.

Since your character is a sort of viking/raider character, as you have described, I find it fitting.

If it helps the next poster, Feanel is a former paladin who lost his faith in the Light, and became a Demon Hunter, seeing it as the right way to protect that which he loves.
