Hello! I can’t get into the Chromie’s Codex scenario for WoW 20 with my level 70 character. When the time comes to transfer to the dungeon, my character remains in place and writes that the addition The War Within is needed. I can’t buy the latest expansion at the moment. Does this mean that I won’t be able to get into the scenario? Without this scenario, it is impossible to get the great feat for the game’s anniversary.
Is this a bug or is this what the developers intended?

This is not intended and we’re working to get a fix out as soon as possible.

Relieved to hear a) it’s not just me, and b) the scenario isn’t locked behind the expansion.
It’s the last achievement I need for A Cool Twenty Years!

An update seems to have gone out as my game updated however still cant enter as of right now. Still requires TWW

Still not working here in EU. Queing up and not being offered a join. This has been 2 days so far and still nothing. I too do not have The War Within.

I queued as a healer and was added almost instantly, but get the message You must have expansion (The War Within) installed to access this area.
It’s solved now ! I just completed the event, and I don’t have TWW.
