Hi
I am trying to lvl in the cataclysm through the Chromie time, but she guides me to go find the Hero’s call board in SW.
I go there and all I get are old zones.
When I did go to the old zones, I was in present time, and I only get the classic dungeons?
I know they were redone in Cata, but I also know there are 5 zones that were added. How can I go lvl in the cata zones?
Anyone know how to lvl in the Cata zones? Or do I need a certain lvl first?
I don’t actually KNOW - I do wish Blizzard had published a detailed guide to how Chromie Time works - but I believe that Cata includes EK and Kalimdor up to level 30, and only then do you get the Cata zones.
I hope someone who knows more can chip in.

Grainne is right (no surprises there), and these zones require lvl 30.
Just to add some more context here, Cataclysm was about the only expansion that had flying available in it’s zones right from the get go, as opposed to other expansion that only had it available from their respective new max level, and had players explore zones by foot the first time around. This means that the 5 Cataclysm zones were designed to require flying to navigate them properly (except Vashj’ir), which is why there’s currently still a level restriction on them. Without flying, you would get stuck in them after a few quests.

That is correct. Cata zones are from level 30. They bundled them with Classic zones becuse those were revamped in Cataclysm and timeline wise they are in the Cataclysm timeline. Also cata zones kind of rely on you having flying and you get that at level 30.
