Some say that Battle for Azeroth is not part of Chromie Time other places I read that it is and that leveling takes about 16 hours (10-50).
When I visit Chromie with this char I can not find Battle for Azeroth there, so I choose Legion.
But in Stormwind I picked up a quest and are now questing in Battle for Azeroth… so confused.
Does this mean that I can do quests and stuff, but its not in Chromie time so I can not sign up for Battle Azeroth dungeons? Right now Im questing in BOA but have legion as dungeons in group finder.
BFA isn’t a Chromie time option because BFA is the normal route. You speak to Chromie to go a different route. Not talking to Chromie is essentially picking BFA.
Chromie time doesn’t stop you from leveling in other expansions, once you’ve done the into quests for that expansion you can stay there even if you swap Chromie time.
Think of Chromie time is a glorified dungeon expansion pack choice.
If you want to do BFA dungeons go talk to her and ask to return to the current timeline. If you want you could even go and choose WoD or MoP to unlock those dungeons, and then head back to Legion to quest.
Yeah it’s basically a way to filter dungeons from a certain expansion. You can just as easily go to the start of which expansion and play it but to do the dungeons via finder you’d need to select that expansion from chromie.
