I think I just found an mid-level exploit. I don’t know if it’s well-known. I was interested with that in rare farms before, but I would like to share with developers, and i prefer receive a reward if possible.
It’s about Chromie time (which used by gold farmers), there is no updated method written on the internet currently. And I can make stay +70 character in chromie time without party sync.
I know it’s a bit greedy, but do you think Blizzard will give a reward me for this exploit?
You can report bugs and exploits through the ingame bug report option.
Your reward is that the bug gets fixed and becomes no longer abusable.

We are all beta testers - if every player who reported a bug got a reward governments wouldn’t need to tax Blizz as the company would already be redistributing all their wealth.
That’s funny. These people dont even give back items that players lost due to the guild bank issue. Filled to the brim 20 year old guild banks wiped and you want a reward.
Having a laugh? They dont pay bounties. Who do you think they are? White hats?
Lol I was just thinking about game time or something, they don’t need to physically reward me, with not much expectation.
You can be beta tester, but this is a job and I would not prefer to do it for free. Then I would apply for a job for that for some other indie games.
I’m sure there are people who can give something to learn this, but in that case I’ll choose to remain silent if there is nothing. Because if someone abuse it, it will benefit us as a long-term, but not Blizzard.

Their choice. Then they may try to manage problems well. If they cannot even provide a reward with the in-game things like game time they have created, there is no need to go to this trouble and spend time on their behalf.

In case of exploiting a bug willingly, penalties may go up to a permanent ban depending on severity.
They can follow up me for that, and I hope they make time for others too, because I’ve seen how far people have gone and they’ve profited from explotinig other things. They only banned them for a short time, there are still thousands of them floating around on the internet.
I wanted to do something good, and there is effort for it. Forget the reward, even if someone doesn’t write “we already know and working on it” or “we can’t reward anything” for this, I would doubt the management of the game. And I’ll wait for that with an hope.

Dont make it seem like that issue was dealt with and resolved. Well, it was for blizzard. That matter is now closed, for them.
Most people afflicted got nowhere near back what was lost. Nowhere near. A lot of peple got garbage back such as a single silk cloth
Also. That post you quoted was from august. We only had their real response to the matter a week ago and now are now well into october. That is a long 11 weeks to figure out a reply that is one paragraph long and has a ten word apology.
I’m honestly lost for words and not sure if you’re trolling or serious.
If you found an exploit, there will be others who know and are exploiting or it isn’t an exploit. There are data miners who scour the entire code.
If there is an exploit and nobody is using it then Blizz wont care.
I saw someone using this while leveling, and there is nothing in internet. I figured out how to do it. You can now go to Burning Steppes on Chromie Time and see those who abusing it currently, and report them. They affect the in-game economy.
Report it using the bug report form in the game, your reward is a good feeling you’ve done the right thing by making the game better
I’m a designer irl, and if I knew it would make me feel better, I would design for free for every brand. We’re not saving animals or the world here, so I won’t do it for the sake of it. Blizzard make money from this.
I won’t do it unless they consider it. They don’t have to give a reward, I’m waiting for an answer that they are interested for any solution.
