I was wondering if anyone tried selecting Legion expansion at level 10, then getting your artifact weapon and returning to chromie to do, let’s say, Outland. How would your artifact weapon scale across all 50 levels? I’ve read it gives your chars a super stat boost.
I’ve not done that, but it’s a really good weapon.
Some of my alts were squished to level 45 and the BFA weapon they had equiped was worse than the Artifact weapon it was a + on both ilvl and stats
i saw a mage with artifact frost staff, ebonchill(?) and i was heirloom weapon. it was +4ilvl higher
It should continue to scale as the idea of Chromie time is to lock you to the Expansion, however you can freely level outside of Chromie time in any Expansion you like and the world scales with you with the exception of I think Cataclsym zoons requiring level 30 to level in.
