Hi
Is Chromie time now up to 60 or is it still 50?
Hi
Is Chromie time now up to 60 or is it still 50?
Naturally it’s 60.
It’s Blizzard so I wasn’t taking it as the obvious thing.
It is 59 but buggy at 59.
If we want our character to stay in Chromie timeline for long time, when do we lock the experience gain - at level 57, 58 or 59?
I remember in Shadowlands they recommended to lock at level 47 because at 48 you were pushed the Shadowlands intro quest that was very difficult to get rid of.
You get the Dragon Isles Await at level 58 as soon as you enter SW.
Why is it when I take Chromie Cata it sends me to the board and I can’t take anything Cata related?
Can you change to a different expansion after you get the quest?
@Norela, Yes, you can change to a different expansion any time you want. I have just finished Chromie time, it ends at lvl 60. When you reach lvl 60 you get automatically teleported back to the capital city (after 45 or 60 seconds), and you can no longer go back in Chromie’s time.
The first one to choose is the cataclysm timeline however both vanilla and cataclysm are merged into one.
At low level (i think up until 15) you can choose vanilla zones before the cata zones start appearing
It’s higher for dungeons
Ah I am on my new Horde characters at level 10. Wanted to go to Mount Hyjal.
Yea i think you need to level up just a bit before the cata zones show up
Hi, for timelines it is safe to level up to 59, after that when crossing 60, it kicks you out.
ALL zones are available at lvl 10. Just check up at Chromie … At least that’s my experience.
Yes, as long as you doesn’t reach level 60, you can stay in Chromie time and can freely swap between expansions.
It’s a but weird with Cataclysm. Basically it’s the redesigned vanilla and cata zones together and cata content starts at level 30.
You can reach it pretty quick tho, you should be around lvl 30 after 2-3 vanilla zones. Probably even quicker with dungeons.
i don’t think the game naturally sends you to cata zones at low levels
for example cata zones won’t appear on the board nor in the journal
you might be able to go look for the starter quest yourself though (i’m not sure)
And does the Dragon Isles Await quest at level 58 cause you any trouble?
Nope, it will just be there sitting on the top of your quest log.
Or maybe it could cause some phasing problem inside SW keep? I haven’t encountered any problem with it so far, but I guess it can be possible in some cases.
