Chromie won't talk to me

I there,

As stated in the title, I have an issue with Chromie.
I wanted to change my lvling expansion depending on my character, fora diverse experience but Chromie won’t let me use the timelines.
I did not do BFA, mostly because…mweh so my question is :DO I have to endure the BFA storyline or can I just rush a lvl 50 toon via dungeons to activate the timeline feature ?

Is it your first character that you are levelling?

As I understand it new player have to do BfA at level 10 the first time then all additional characters will be able to use chromie time and choose xpacs.

If you played up to legion and had a char squished to 45 I’m not 100% how it works but im guessing you need to do BfA before shadowlands as they want you to understand the running story between the two xpacs.

That would explain why no chromie time available for you.

Thank you Nefaryas

Not my first character but never had one max level cause I did not buy BFA back then.
My main is currently 36, painfully lvling in Drustvar but my alt still do not have access to Chromie’s timeline…I think I’ll just have to do BFA then, if I don’t end up leaving

I am only guessing that is the reason but with the war story, zones and maybe picking up herbing and mining it should go fairly fast.

Sadly I don’t think the xp pots work any more, there was a ring/gem that gave a 5% xp gain but again I’m not sure if that works anymore.

Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Yea. pretty much, you have to endure BFA AT LEAST once.

So have at it. Afterwards, you’ll get to choose.

Who Can Use Chromie Time?

You can only activate Chromie Time after having a character reach level 50 without it. If you’re leveling your first character you can still level in old world zones like Wrath of the Lich King or Mists of Pandaria, but they will only scaling up to their maximum normal level. More information at the World Scaling Without Chromie Time section.

I don’t blame her
