Do something about this boss is “unplayable” for healer! I was doing uldaman twice (+6 & +8) and healer pug seems cant do it which it means I have to heal instead of dps and I am not healer. It is out of control how it works now so it needs adjust or change!
people need to learn to use personals and selh heals there.
with more itlv and proper use of personals you will faceroll it in couple of weeks on +8
This fight comes down to using your snare removals to mitigate as many of the debuffs as possible.
It is a bit overtuned but I’d bet my house you’re playing it badly.
It is not all about bad or good and we didnt wipe! It is just extremtly overtuned! It is all!
If Tou didnt wipe it means you already killed IT proving yourself the fight is ok.
Im 4 weeks you will have 20-30 more itlv and faceroll it
It only applied two debuffs per round in S2, idk why it suddenly does 3. Other than that fight it fine.
The weirdest thing is they nerfed the last boss in AA, which was already one of the easiest bosses in the current rotation.
Which does make it particularly rough if your group doesn’t have (m)any, or the ones you do have are on super long CDs.
Currently, it feels like one of the first bosses to start punishing people who just want to play with friends and not create a group with a particular comp.
Nerfed it how? I’d say they buffed it given they added two orbs at the start to give the fight some actual mechanics for the first 2 minutes.
They posted nerfs last night.
- Arcane Rift now spawns Uncontrolled Energy 20% less frequently.
- Overwhelming Power now spawns Arcane Rift at 4 stacks (was 3).
Huh, I think it’s understanable with how utterly obscene the room gets once the fight passes the 4 minute mark, but still a little premature?
I guess after training myself in not getting hit by stuff on mythic Smoldie, I find it pretty easy
people just don’t know that you can remove the debuff with freedom.
the same people also don’t know it works for dragons in HoI and the same people also don’t bind their dispel in Brackenhide.
Those people had 3.6k rio and play like complete potatoes and facerolling mongrels.
the dungeons are ok on +10
I must say on fortified the dungeons are all super free.
Tyrannical is as usual steamrolling people that are only using half their buttons and the healers have to put out the fire
It also works for the circle the crystal casts in AV, but it has to be freedom there, not tigers lust or fade. If the root can’t apply, neither can the damage.
And what about the people who don’t play paladin?
how many classes can dispel roots?
pala (can double freedom)
priest (fade + mass dispel)
druid
shaman (ghost wolf dispel)
monk (tiger lust)
hunter (disengage)
warlock (port)
guess the only ones are
dk, but they can ams
warriors
mages
evoker
so there are more classes that can deal with it than cant. so if you only invite those classes, then well have fun i guess?
on +10 it still works but higher it will just be mandatory.
As I said in an earlier comment:
I don’t disagree in principle but getting people to use the tools they have would be a good start. I’ve been on comms as a tank on that boss with 2 rets and a ww and they didn’t know how to play it.
I agree at a certain point the key will become “undoable” for the wrong comps and thats not good design. (Don’t take “undoable” literally, I just mean it will be too much pain and people will revert to a comp that can manage it easily)

well yes, i hate i as well as i play shaman which is also rarely meta.
i mean that boss is one example but it almost will be every boss on high keys and you need a mage for mass barrier to survive stuff. it is even worse in my opinion because there is no work around this 1 class.
at least deios has several available classes to cancel the debuff but the knockback will blast you so hard later that you probably need to rotate so many externals that other classes like mage would be required.
arent the highest uldaman keys also just played with vdh aug mage priest rdruid?
which means except the druid, they only have mass dispel. so it would seem the debuff is not whag makes or breaks the fight.
for me personally the knockback combined with the debuff is what is hard. debuffs without knockback is whatever
That fight before the nerf was already a free boss. Deios in uldaman for a healer is bad really. If ure healer can handle it its a kill
