I just musing about Circe Circlet still being relevant and wondered why WoW doesn’t have a BiS ring you upgrade and change stones from the outset of the expansion or “story.”
It would be a great evergreen feature and you know you would at least have one item that would be BiS without having t o pray to the RnG gods.
The biggest probably I had this things like those were the catch up. It was a huge amount of work to get all of them for your character if you’re a dirty casual like I am these days. Alts were basically a no, even with the eventual catch up mechanics, whatever those were again.
Heart of Azeroth was just boring; that was its major issue.
Artifact weapons were frickin’ awesome. One of the best systems they’ve ever done.
I definitely didn’t hate it. But a ring… I don’t know… It’s boring too imo. I want an upgradeable piece of gear that has an appearance. That you can earn unique appearances for. Like you could with Artifact weapons.
I liked the Artefact weapons for their aesthetics and class identity. I didn’t like them for the never ending grind they required and the relics. Also you can skip explaining why those things didn’t bother you, most of us here already know about your playstyle and why that doesn’t affect you.
Further down the season it will become irrelevant except to low priority alts or people who get laughed at by RNJesus when it comes to loot and vault times. I have read on the likes of IcyVeins from minmaxers and theorycrafters that Blizzard will nerf it but I don’t think they will, they will just let it phase itself out.
By season 3 (and likely Blizzard will bring in another ingot system, like they did in S3 of Dragonflight) it will be completely irrelevant.
Right now make the most of it and use the stat boost gems.
At this point I just consider him a gainsaying troll.
As if it was a universal fact. Which it wasn’t.
So as long as people do that sort of thing, I will continue stating my side of the issue.
But the thing that strikes me: I did not ‘explain why those things didn’t bother me’. I merely stated that I loved it and I’d love to see a similar system -with unique appearances- again. That’s literally all I said. So I don’t know where your snappy response is coming from.
And if it was meant to be pre-emptive: Well, you explained why you didn’t like it. Something which is also well known and such. So that is okay, but I should shut up? Right.
What’s with the hostility all of a sudden?
Someone’s not allowed to have their own opinion anymore without being branded ‘a troll’?
I’m disappointed in you, frankly. I thought better of you. Guess I was wrong?
I’d have loved it if Delves had gone with an Open World player gear set, and a similar system to AP. I get why they haven’t, and why the gear overlap is better for a larger amount of players, but I’d have enjoyed an experiment there. And then truly have the Delve tiers open up because you progressed your gear. A self contained system.
Which I interpreted as a general statement. And that’s not pedantic, but rather a normal reaction to someone saying it in that specific manner.
“Movie A was just released. People didn’t like it.”
See what I mean? It sounds as if nobody liked it.
That could be a nice experiment, yeah.
The only issue I’d have with it at this particular time, in this particular expansion, is that most zones are underground and I don’t actually want to spend my time there. So an open world gear set wouldn’t do much for me.
It was just a though folks. I know they’re rehashing a lot of old things. They’ve done the ring before in DF, but this time the ring is staying around longer.
