Cities should have everything org/sw got

Thunder Bluff, among other under used cities need transmog, barber and portal to Orgrimmar, then we could use our own cities more and set them as a home point. Wouldn’t mind setting home in Thunder Bluff, porting to Orgrimmar and resume my adventures with the expansion portals. For the moment, other cities are completely dead, unless someone actually decides to do questing.

agreed, so annoying, i hate ogr/swt, both of them! I would gladly spend time in silvermoon/thunderbluff and darnassus

Minor buff for visiting or logging in your racial capital could be fun too

…can we get a Pandaren quarter please? We’ve had tents for years.

Another thing that annoys me is having to go to boralus>>stormwind>> insert portal that’s not in boralus. Extra loading screen for the sake of it.

I would love for all cities to be equal but sadly Blizzard seems to like to push us all into two hubs. Some will still set up base elsewhere but it’s a nuisance when not everything is on hand.

I absolutely agree with this.
They’d have to make Silvermoon flyable.

Shame we are lumbered into Dazar’Alor, Boralus, Orgrimmar and Stormwind.

Silvermoon and Ironforge are awesome cities I’d love to see life back in them.

What I don’t get is how the heck Silvermoon, the capital city of blood elves, doesn’t have a barber and Orgrimmar, the capital city of orcs, does?!?

I would prefer if the portal rooms where an interdimensional room that it is not physically in any city and instead the cities have only one portal to the portal room and from ther have the portals to every place.

That will mean any teleport would be only 2 loading screens away no matter what you are, and in case you are in Orgrimmar and Stormwind could be just 1 loading screen away because the portal room could be interdimensional in lore but for the point of view of the game they could use the same trick as Stormwind portal room.

Its clear Blizz has done it to cut down on dev time. Focus on two cities, one for each faction. This means that whenever they want to introduce something new like for example the recent trainer updates they can get away with doing it for the two core cities instead of all of them.

Its a calculated efficiency saving. No need to update all of them when you can get away with updating just two.

Yes its really fun to go from boralus to ironforge and end up not being able to port back… but from boralus to stormwind to boralus you can… well

It’s a remnant from Cataclysm, where SW and ORG truly were capital cities. I would love to have this change reverted though, I always stationed my characters in Undercity and Ironforge.

I just love the fact that we have a silvermoon portal in zandalar for no reason.

Makes me go there from time to time for no reason whatsoever. Beautiful city. and the theme music is wonderful too. Pity you can’t fly there.

Agree, i always setup home in Thunderbluff. I just like the vibe there.

From time to time I fly to org for transmorgs etc. Org to Thunderbluff is doable but just annoying.

I would do all my business in undercity if this would happen

Barbershop in Silvermoon would be amazing there is an area that has been under construction since Tbc

Good idea.

How about all costs (transmog, repairs, AH %, barber bills etc.) should be half for the indigenous races?
This would incentivise more dwarves to be roaming around Ironforge and more Taurens hoofing around Thunder Bluff. This would make the cities feel more immersive…

These costs aren’t huge so it’s not a big deal but just a little incentive.

I agree i hate stormwind it and orgrimmar are both cities that have outlived their expiration date well beyond the date.

How about every character gets a hearthstone to their indigenous city?
Humans get a SW hs, dwarves one for Ironforge etc.

Not sure where Forsaken would go? Old Undercity? New Undercity? Orgrimar?
Similar with Night Elves. Could have interesting options…
