Clarification on Changes for Fresh Anniversary Hardcore Servers

@Kaivax, could you please clarify whether the upcoming fresh Anniversary Hardcore servers will also include the following changes?

  • Instant mail between characters on the same account
  • The removal of the buff/debuff limit
  • Dual specs

Context:
During Blizzard Direct, it was implied that all fresh Anniversary servers would eventually progress to TBC, leading many to assume that Hardcore fresh servers would follow the same progression, as they fall under the fresh Anniversary realm umbrella. If you revisit that section on YouTube, you’ll notice they never explicitly stated that Hardcore servers would be excluded from this progression. Later, a blue post confirmed that Hardcore servers would not progress to TBC.

Yesterday, we learned that all new Anniversary servers will have the changes I listed above, but it wasn’t clearly stated whether the Hardcore servers would receive these updates as well. Hence, I’m asking for clarification on this.

Well if you play SSF you are not affected by instant mail anyway but still by other global changes.
Same if you die and transfer, of course global changes remain the same.

This is not about SSF, it’s about the mass exodus that will happen to fresh servers under the premise that they will have quality of life changes.

There is no exodus, only over dramatic people who don’t accept global changes.

Real hardcore players are not affected by any change anyway because they still use HC Addon with customized rules and achievements. If the HC community doesn’t accept raiding with dual spec, the rule will be added to HC Addon and your problem is solved.

I don’t believe I lost my temper or condoned the changes implemented. I’m just seeking clarification. Players will prefer to play on HC servers instead of using the addon. HC community is fine with dual spec, they just don’t want their communities to be split as it is already quite small to be divided between 3 servers per region.

He is just asking for clarification since Blizzard has a record of poor communication.

If the dual spec news is applied for fresh hc as well it will 100% make more people abandon the old servers.

So a nice blue confirmation response would clear a lot of things.

I hope Blizz give us the option to play Hardcore TBC. I think the players should be able to make the decision whether they want to play Hardcore TBC or not.
