I’m curious what is their real tools to do changes, as we know they ignore wow arena forum how can they decide this or that need buff or nerf?
Why bm hunter get buff every round of changes.
Why outlaw rogue is still the most ignored spec while being totally garbage doing 0 dmg at all and still got 0 changes for months.
Why some spec like fury or the one you just press 2 button and spam space bar still continue to be absurdly broken.
Feels like they always target the wrong thing (beside precog this round)or butcher some spec and some remain broken for some reason.
anyways, class balance whats that. i was in vanil too, ive never seen balance on this game except the boomkins now in every game
it aint what they say its what they do, i want to see what they do i dont care what blizzard say anymore
on that note, they really should had worked from “player feedback and internal data” during retocalypse too when it were on ptr and yet got released like it was and did a completely mockery of all brachets
But honestly, there has never been and there will never be perfect balance in this game. There is way too many variables to perfectly balance it out. The best thing they could and should do is weekly balance patches with nerfs and buffs here and there to at least come close to something you could call balance.
Balance issues have always revolved around issues that arena balance is way different to bg balance, what’s balanced in arena is often massively off for BG.
Then add differences of class style some being rot some being burst then add in melee vs ranged
Variables eventually overwhelm the balance system without allowing tuning for each mode of PvP.
They are struggling to balance things in PVP but with the current talent system, tier sets and without PVP scaling it has become a gargantuan task trying to balance PVP without unbalancing things for PVE (PVE has bigger numbers then PVP).
Maybe around season 4 or after things will be okish.
Just annoying how they either nerf something to the ground or overbuff something to the moon. Where is the middle ground… Why not do small changes every other week instead of this overkill every time.
So there is balance in broken balance i still thinking about, if I’m still gonna play demo in double dps with a shadow or go Affliction for more pressure…
i wont play demo or lock in general as it isnt so great and now theyre making it a paper turret. buffing every zug ape dmg while they nerf lock defensive so it will become more annoying to be this paper turret
i would play boomy for range as it is still allowed to drop atomic bombs and spam nuclear instants along its instant clones and best cc in the game root+beam, it is also 5x tankyer than demo its unkillable if the guy uses his toolkit, somehow blizzard dont care about this
eu drustvar is huge lead with balance and i predict they are next on the receiving end once they are the only played range spec on this joke mode
i propably stick to sv as i can peel with it just as much as from demo and it can do cc to some degree that matter and i can play it from range when i dont want to be facetanking peoples cds, also it can do dmg alot easyer than demo is allowed to play the game
Owlkin Adept reduces the cast time of Cylcone and Entangling Roots by 15% (was 20%).
Solar Beam lasts 6 seconds in PvP combat (was 8 seconds).

doesnt change the fact that boomy is 5x tankyer than demo and nukes 5x the dmg than demo and with instants no less and still comes with better cc aswell, but somehow blizzard is ignoring this and stateing that demo is hard to kill for meleebrain so nerf demo defensive more
boomy currently is the equivalent of retocalypse and they are increasing clone/root cast time, yeah thats not a nerf
literally not nerfed but if blizz dont yet see it they will when the ladder is only boomy, their nerf is on the way it just takes time for blizzard to react

thats just not true lol. Demo has waaaaay more selfhealing and cant really die in stuns until deep dampening. Boomy can kite quite well and is hard to kill especially for casters ye.
what lol. Demo CC is insane with 3 stuns, coil and fear.
boomy definitely does a bit more dmg but demo has 20% healreduce.
its a 5% nerf to their tankiness it wont make that big of a difference.
its not even close. Neither gameplay wise since boomy has a few weaknesses nor do any stats show that boomy is even close to what ret was.
Boomy is propaply the best spec right now with sub rogue. A little bit ahead of demo but not too far ahead. I play both. Demo is really really strong still. Easily s tier.
you need to see that they are also buffing every zug ape spec simultaneously
look the big picture, anyone continue play demo will be a masochist
every class in the 3v3 has ms these days if ur boomy doesnt have one then the other dps in ur team does, this is not good comparison it doesnt matter
Balance is by far the best dps right now and will remain be, its dmg is from other dimension and it comes instant it also has best cc whats left in the game, its tanky and has good mobility, the spec is just insane thats why we have even rogue mains go play boomy for tournaments because its brokenly good like retocalypse retris
