Class Design: Overhaul is needed

This game looks exactly like MOBA games now.

And i think it’s a problem.

Games are taking references all the time but re-inventing succesful wheel will kick you in the nuts in the end.

maybe you could slow the entire system down

no oneshotts (convoke, combustion, cranekick)

double gcd?

also nerf arms’es healing reduction, i believe half the healer uninstalled because of that fight, its like having worse gear = unfair

on the other hand, does blizzard even read this?

i bet thousands of addicts already theory craftetd / posted how to fix it but blizzard doesnt care they seem not to be in need of future money from the pvp community

Even details is showing that these massive dmg modifiers are coming from Covenant’s. There’s the issue and some classes need to cast more.

when a windwalker oneshotts you its actually the overlapping of 3 AoE mechanics from old expansions

bonedustbrew + dragonpunch
Dance of chiji proc

so its like 3 player hitting you at the same time

why monk has aoe passives from past kit designs? they were to lazy to fix serenity

I’ve died to these tenfold times in arena. even 1 monk said that he doesn’t need to kick my casts as i’m a shaman :DDD

I believe most windwalkers don’t even use the cranekick combo to the fullest potential

but as a mistweaver who gets oneshottet by ww’s daily im done and just leak the way, hoping that blizzard fixes the intendet serenity playstyle

I mean almost all of your heals arent cast

Remove the trio I believe damage will come down, not like by 50% by i would say quite significantly.

Also gotta remember; armor is nerfed and we have the trinket set bonus now. So much stuff is happening in the background and eventually something becomes broken.

yes its literally like 3 player hitting you since its 3 aoe mechanics that work with cranekick, they must have been forgotten to be removed over the years since ‘‘serenity’’ didnt got fixed with BfA, overlapping aoe mechanics are the ‘‘Burst’’

If only someone from braindead wow team would figure it out, it would be great.

I think they don’t want to work on anything, they want a 3-6 spec scissor / stone / paper meta where anyone oneshotts each other, maybe even without healer

for example mistweaver got gutted on shadowlands prepatch,

2 defensives nerfed massively (cocoon/brew)
120seconds damage cd removed no replacement (crane)

this might just be an exeption since ‘‘monk guy’’ left the company last year, so i am wondering why they don’t just delete windwalker or nerf it dead like they did with MW

I dont think its a problem. However MOBA games dont have pay2win, you dont need to spend half a year to gear your character to maximum, everyone starts at equal grounds and its usually way more balanced.

(out of PVPonly-player perspective)

at this point, pvp armor with that setbonus is just to hide the ‘‘unbalanceness’’ and that big setbonus is a big timegate, ‘‘dont stop playing’’

then you got legendary slot, whose essence is also timegated ; play alot pve or buy token/pay € to guyx for the vessel

its a smart system to make more money out of a smaller playerbase, no need for a good product
