They use our class fantasy to sell the game but once you buy it, we are crap, and you are forced to play with trees or the ugly evoker. Would you understand that most people in this game enjoy the classic wow mage, warrior, paladin, warlock… class fantasies and not the subpar fantasy aberrations like monk or evoker? This is also part of the game. If you want to sell more, push the class fantasies that players enjoy, not the other way around. No wonder the player base in shrinking non stop.

You title it class fantasy yet none of your complaint is about the class fantasy?
In what way is the class fantasy “crap” once the game is purchased? If anything paladins hold one of the stronger ingame class fantasy styles
its in the middle of a rework.

player retention in DF has been extremely high by data, so i rly dunno where u pull that out from, the damage done to the playerbase is more to do with the 6 years of borrowed powers tyranny.
Ret fantasy is dead in 10.0.7 if those changes go live.
Class fanstay is ruined. We can build to ranged class (YES even ranged autoattack).
The spec will be gutted out of buttons. Ret will be braindead spec.
