Hello,
I would like to suggest an idea that could improve the overall gameplay experience.
I’ve noticed that many players do not fully understand their class abilities. Often they are unaware of what certain skills do, when to use them, or how they can support the group. Important abilities such as interrupts, slows, crowd control, defensive cooldowns, and group buffs are frequently overlooked.
For this reason, I would suggest introducing a short tutorial of around 30 minutes. The tutorial could explain the most important abilities of each class and allow players to practice using them through a series of simple objectives or checkpoints. Players would learn what each ability is used for and when it should be utilized.
After completing the tutorial, players could receive a green checkmark or a similar indicator. This would show that they have at least taken the time to learn the basics of their class and abilities. Since RIO score does not necessarily reflect a player’s understanding or mastery of their class, such a system could provide a much better indicator.
Importantly, this tutorial should remain completely optional. Players should be free to decide whether they want to complete it or not. Those who choose not to participate would simply not receive the checkmark. This preserves player freedom while allowing those who have invested time in learning their class to demonstrate it.
I believe this would help both new and experienced players and improve the overall quality of group content.
