I had an issue with my alliance 80 Shaman. Not being able to get a quest from Thrall in Dalaran (Legion) to access the Shaman’s Class Hall in Maelstrom from Dalaran on the Krasu’s Landing area. It is worth mentioning that I have finished all TWW quest lines and stories and that might have triggered the bug.
The quest I was missing it is called’ A Ring Unbroken’ which should be obtained from Thrall in Dalaran (way 47.2 33.8) standing near Dalaran Bank next to the sewer well. The so mentioned quest should lead to the Class Hall Story Line and Portal. When my shaman landed in Dalaran, a wind spirit showed up and led my character to Thrall who said in say chat he has an urgent message for my Shaman but never offered my character the above quest.
After a long, thorough research I have managed to solve the mystery! ┊ ˚➶ ｡˚
In my search process I have found out that many players encountered the same problem with no solution ahead. So now am sharing with you the solution to the problem/fail/bug and how to trigger the chain of tasks/story lines that leads to your Class Hall chain quests and getting the Class Hall Portal/Teleport in Dalaran (Legion).
The steps are as follows: -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈

Take the portal to Azsuna from SW Mage Tower. In Azsuna, use your mount and fly to the floating Dalaran island or use a flight master if you can. Remember: your character must be at least level 50 to take a portal to Azsuna in WoW, so this method won’t work if your character is below level 50.

Go to the Violet Citadel in Dalaran (Legion) and talk to the Archivist Elysiana who is standing in the Citadel entrance on the left ( way 30.2 50.4) She will trigger a series of stories/tasks that your character is missing for getting the Class Hall Story line.

When my character talked to the Archivist Elysiana, the following story was opened : ‘Calling at the Council’

Khadgar popped up in talking head image and offered my character the following Storyline:
Legion Launch Events - Week 2 :
*Calling of the Council
*The Diamond King
*Hiding in the Stacks -
Brann appeared and he was the one who offered the *The Diamond King’ mission/story.
All the missions from now on will take place in Deadwind Pass above Karazhan dungeon! The character must fly relatively high above Kara to reach the floating Dalaran island . -
Your character needs to return to Dalaran (Legion) subsequent to the ‘Hiding the Stacks’ mission/story accomplishment and talk again with the Archivist Elysiana to trigger the next series of
Legion Launch Events - Week 3 :
*City Under Siege
*Anomalous Anomalies
*Author! Author!
*In the Blink of an Eye
Then as soon as you get the last mission which is: ‘In the Blink of an Eye’ - Emissary Auldbridge will appear next to your character, the quest will be handed over - End of Story!
Next a Wind Spirit will show up, leading your character to Thrall who says in say chat he has an urgent message and FINALLY will offer the quest ‘A Ring Unbroken’ that leads directly to the class Hall story line.
