I played some remix recently and I reminded myself how I enjoyed Class Halls and how it doesn’t make sense that all class representatives united themselves against Legion but now don’t care about N’Zoth being released or void invasion.
Class halls are self writting content. Everyone wants to know what are Warlocks planning to do in Midnight. What will be Shamans involvement in fighting void etc. I’d love some class hall quest chain every season to see what they plan. Also I have to say that new Warlock and Druid customizations at barber’s shop are epic. Maybe it’s the way to implement more of these for other classes.
I mentioned also in the past that for RP reasons I’d love some class daillies that will give you currency to buy class specific visuals if it’s customization or new class specific transmog. Shamans could fight renegade elementals going through elemental plains all over the world. Hunters can hunt rare beasts with preparations like lures etc. Druids can fight old got corruptions. Rogues can assassinate someone or plan a heist on bank in Boralus. Warlocks can summon demons to collect their souls or subdue them. Demon hunters can hunt the leftover Legion armies. DKs can create a bigger undead army or reanimate unique dragons. Evokers can fight Iridikron forces. Mages collect ancient spellbooks from mage towers all around the world. Warriors can look for ancient blades and defeat many warriors to get them. Monks can attend martial arts tournaments. There is plenty of these. This will improve RPG element in the game.
I didn’t but that is also because the class story sucked for the most part.
My dark brooding plans is non of ya’ alls business.
This, this I could like
More class quests.
However I am of the opinion class halls took the “class fantasy” as was the buzzword at the time, out back behind the shed and dumbed it into a dull woodchipper, feet first.
There is some gold inflation still, no need to add new sources of passive gold income. We need exactly the opposite, to reduce the amount of gold in the economy.
Lets introduce taxes with housing, that will passivly drain your gold reserves while ofc we’ll also be removing passive gold income streams, that’ll surely fix the inflation
I said bring back Class Halls as I concept. No mission table and grind. I mean we have no artifacts so what do you want to grind?
I meant rather class oriented content and politics of each class faction. I believe Warlocks will have different goals than Paladins and Hunters. It can be pretty interesting.
At the moment it seems all class representatives united to beat Legion and then took some holiday break that they didn’t come back from yet?
They didn’t care about N’Zoth danger or Void invasion? Seems like a pretty unreasonable plot hole. Not going to say recent expansions plot is any high level but still…
I mean there is a lore reason for some of the class halls breaking apart. During the Legion invasion the Horde and Alliance were hit back pretty hard at the Broken Shore and other groups stepped forward at the time until, of course this unity broke apart instantly when the war started after Legion.
The Paladins broke back into their respective organisations, warriors were very centric to the broken isles. Shaman and Druids were always represented with the Earthen Ring and Cenarion Circle. Ebon Blade did get their shadowlands screentime. Rogues and Warlocks are independent by nature usually and the Illidari are uhh, just missing beside demon hunters appearing by themselves. Priests… their order campaign was paladin centric
One thing i really enjoyed from the Class Halls was each class/faction doing their own thing working towards the goal of beating the Legion. Also the overlap in the stories, like Paladins helping defend the Priest halls.
