Class/Race/Faction based Cursor

Cmon, Blizz, it is been 14 years. That plate hand is gettin´really old and also just don´t the fit the “Class/Race fantasy” most of the time. Huh, I thought you all about that. Pwease?

I didn’t even think about it. I don’t think it is needed. Thats my opinion.

I get it. It is subjective tho. For some, Allied races weren´t needed.
I bet there are plenty of people that would appreciate new cursor options.

I understand it is about money, too, Blizz. You could make those new cursors purchasable in the shop. I´ll buy it.

What kind of icon/s would you suggest? I kinda like the idea but my creative brain is stuck in word so struggling to think of any.

Well, if you remember WC3, the cursor would change based on the faction you played (Night elf hand, Skeleton hand, Green orc hand, etc…). That is what I have in mind.
You could make them class based (like hand with Fel scars for warlocks or Holy light tinted for paladins, Hand with leaves for druids,…)
You could make those interchangeable. Like you could select the main model (Human hand) and then the second layer (Class based).
Or simply based on race or faction.

Oooo yeah I like that idea, not sure I would pay for it though as I have so many characters of different classes it would cost me too much.

That is just an idea how to make it more appealing to Blizzard. Best outcome would be if it was going to be free.

I think this is a fabulous idea.

Provided we also retain the option of the original cursor, Incase some of us don’t gel with any of the new ones

Ofc they’d keep the original cursors as well, so I don’t see any problem with this, it would not force anyone to use the new ones.
