Class Trainers

Hi guys. Wouldn’t be nice if class trainers actually have new spells and ablities to teach us, like in other WoW versions? I mean everytime I want to level a class I get bored quickly because class trainers have nothing to teach us. Thanks.

Paying gold for a skill is not going to relieve your boredom.
I suggest trying out WoW Forever next week. It’s a mix of classic and retail with purchasable skill ranks.

No , :-1: .there is already wow forever .you can stick with it .

I have no desire to go back to this archaic system in Retail. We have long moved on from being forced to go back to the Capitals just to be able to have new skills.

Just like we no longer have ranks of spells. That stuff belongs in Classic.

I think many, if not most, if not all, of these threads are baits.

“Lets remove/change something in retail to make it resemble forever/classic more”, “hehe, they are going to get angry and reply in my thread. Next thread will be made with AI hehehe.”

The OP is either new and don’t know or it’s trolling

Maybe class trainers could give more race/class combo specific spells?

So Blood Elf Paladins can learn the Blood Elf-only spell “Blood Heal”

Draenei Priests can learn the Draenei-only spell “A’dal’s Radiance”

Night Elf Mages can learn the Night Elf-only spell “Star Blast”

Undead Hunters can learn the Undead-only spell “Paralysis Shadowshot” (akin to Sylvanas’ arrow that she made for Arthas in w3)

It would take a lot of work, but it might add a bit more lore flavour. These are all free, but it would give class trainers a purpose

Running to a trainer to buy skills we’ve already earned (even if just by levelling up) was pointless busywork in Vanilla and it would also be pointless busywork in Retail.

I’d much rather the devs invested their time in creating engaging new content and addressing the quality issues in their releases than trying to copy things that already exist in Classic and Forever.

If I want to play with outdated game design I can easily log into Classic Era!

Seem to be a lot of bored Classic players around waiting for Forever launch.

Class trainers no, i dont think it would add anything to the game by having to go to class trainers, pay a few gold, and move on.

What i would like to see is more class quests like warlock green fire, things like that would be super cool, and would be a way to give people different class fantasies they so want on their mains.

Could have a few quests to give your Marksmen abilities to get a more shadow theme look to give that dark ranger vipe.

DK quest to summon skeletons instead of ghouls for example.

I think, rather than it being just class specific - I think for some - you could make some of it race/class specific as well.

I mean the Dark Ranger vibe does nothing for somebody who’s playing a Dwarf Hunter or Troll Hunter, but does everything if your playing an Elf Hunter or Undead Hunter.

For Dwarf Hunters - you could have a Titan-based bullet-Azerite-like shot

For Troll Hunters - you could have a Bwonsamdi-blessed-Loa shot…

Same with Priests: Any quests relating to the Holy Light doesn’t do anything for Night Elf, Nightborne or Troll Priests…but something Elune and Loa related, would go down a storm.

Im surprised blizz isnt already selling those in store. Store bought flashy ability effects.

I think other mmo’s such as ffxiv is going to start doing that in their next expansion.

Blizz is going to follow.

I suppose they’d find a way to try and do it if they could…I just wish they’d retain the idea of an MMO and give us something unique for everybody.

As somebody who does have a Nightborne Priest - when am I going to get the white healing light, reflective of Elune? Ideally, it should be done through a Night Elf/Nightborne only racial quest with lore about Elune, going to the Tomb of Sargeras - perhaps communing with Dejahna, then going to Bashal’Aran to witness the Moonwell used to invoke the Night Warrior…it would just add more depth

Soon you will be starting the great journey of swiping your credit card.

I dont think it will be difficult for them to do it. They already do/did that with glyphs.

Not for the flashy spell stuff, I can assure you

If they can do questlines like the Warlock one from MoP, then…they can do it for other classes

Well I know one who has bought the discounted midnight expansion after coming back to play Forever
So perhaps the trick will work.

No and I know you are thrilled but only 6days and 6h and you get to play forever. I know its hard for you but won’t take long anynore.

Edit: start kinda get feeling that maybe all Retail players should go to forever forums and start filling it with ideas what they could add there from retail. Would it be fun if …

That’s the thing, they’re bored waiting for Forever, and tossing some cheap bait over here keeps them occupied for a good minute or two…

We have so many trolls in GD, it’s about time for playable Amani!

Maybe class trainers can get feature when u speak with them to enter in instance like target dummi practice room and offer something like how to use new ability that u have automatic learned by lv up. Explaining u how to use each new ability as given quest by class trainer.
Maybe that can be intresting for new players.
