Hello there,
It seems it’s a returning bug but when I create a Class Trial character on WoW Live it says “Applying character boost — this may take several minutes”
So the several minutes is now one and a half hour and still processing but I’ve read older topics back in years where it took several days rather than minutes. The Blizzard reply was always “We are aware of this bug and will fix it soon” - type of answer and it seems it’s hard if not impossible to actually fix it once and for all.
Could you tell me about the current state of this “class-trial-character-boost-excessive-delay” case please? How much is the actual wait time in minutes / hours / days / weeks / months / years currently?
Thank you.
Edit: This is on starter account.
Hey Bnmbku,
There are no known issues with Class Trial characters at the moment, though you do need to have game time to use this feature and if you’re on a starter edition account that would be the likely cause in this case.

Thank you,
"The Class Trial is only available in Modern World of Warcraft and requires your account to have game time. "
I’m just wondering if Class Trial feature is not enabled in the starter accounts, then it is confusing enough that it still says: creating Class Trial may take a few minutes in the starters’ game menu. It would be better to remove the feature from the menu if no subscription found. Or at least make it clear on the screen that starters and unsubbed can’t use this feature.
