You are still trying to hammer Aug into another dumbed down DPS spec instead of
A) Reworking it into a tank spec to at leas somewhat cover up your past mistakes
B) Trying to resurrect the concept of buff spec. which would require other, already existing classes to also get a buff spec so there won’t be class a monopoly for the role.
At least you also buffed non overperforming specs too, it’s something!
If they remove shields (6 sec cd is already ultra-sad for that matter, I wish you could still spam shields like back in ICC days), they better remove healing stream totems as well. Because no class should be able to keep a group alive simply by putting down a stick. Oh, may also remove chain heal and the free extra chain heal procs from totemics. Just to make it balanced and fair. Right?
Where are pvp buffs.
MW monk is still the weakest healer in arena. Beginning of the season 90% priest disc on arenas, buffs holypriest, now 80% only holy in the arena.
Can blizzard balance heal classes or is only one or two playable?
Funny last PVP tuning you dont have noted that Mistweaver is the worst heal in Arena, BUT this PVE balance notes look promesing for my rushing wind Kick build in SoloQ
Big problem on Mw is too much healing is on crackle, everyone know how and wenn too interrupt it, rushing wind kick build is very great if you can stand mid range or vs Silence wenn you still can kick, our mastery what was the biggest heal is doomed, but with high haste you can get insane renew mist healing with Kick
Sure we are still low tier with that and sheilung also got a tiny increase but maybe in some matchup viable

Both divine toll and AS has a fly time tho, so if u throw it at max range at or nearly at end of cast chances are u miss it anyway . Also in big aoe DT is random, only first hit kicks , it helps a ton but its not aoe silence like DH has .
Now i have no idea why u mentioned rebuke, doesnt DH has also kick that perevents casts for 3 sec ?
Rest of spells has nothing to do with interupts or grouping mobs so no idea why u just took random utility but trust me DH has plenty ( like prison 3% magic dmg darknes blah blah… )
Now try to compare both those tanks utility to something like pwar or druid , or even monk that has almost zero spells to help with help to controll mobs and their position and no aoe kicks ( apart from war ) .
You are wrong in so many levels. Shields are not direct healing. They are a DR. Like defensive abilities.
And we should not go back to the WotlK play-stile. I remember it well, and the problems the shields created. Which namely were: If you had double Disc in your party, doing ICCHC was like doing ICC normal. But if you did not have double disc, doing ICCHC was like doing ICC mythic (even though it did not exist yet). No single class should have that much impact on the result of a raid.
This is why shields are so problematic:
Person has 5M life. He gets hit by a mechanic that does 6M damage. If you have a shield: You don’t die. If you don’t have a shield, its a 1-shot. In low key levels, Oracle Priests allow people to stand on the fire and not die. No other class can do that. And in high keys, abilities that should 1-shot you unless you pop a defensive ability… don’t (because the priests casts one for you at a 6s CD). And all the greys in between are similarly OP.
So basically, ALL the toolkit an RShaman has (including Healing Stream) requires someone to take the damage, and be alive for long enough (aka: not get hit by a 2nd thing) for me to top his HP back up. In the example above, I can have 100 Healing Stream totems, healing 100M damage per second. It wont matter if the person is 1-shot. He dies anyways.
So. What is more superior? A Healing Stream or a Shield?
THEREFORE: Here are the DR abilites that a Shaman has equivalent to Shields.
My defensive ability: Astral Shilft. 40% DR on a 1.5 min CD.
Stone Bulawark Totem: A ~ 5M shield on a 3 minute CD.
Ancestral Vigor: Gives 10% extra HP to party members. More HP constitutes a “shield” or “DR”. For 10s. Its still a “budget version” of the shield cause I still have heal that 10% back up. Unlike a Shield. But practically speaking it has the same effect.
Downpour: 10% on top for 6s. IF you stand on Healing Rain. And it costs 2 GCDs to cast.
That’s it.
And as you can see, the shields of an oracle priest are BETTER than my personal DR defensive. Because a Shield for 100% of my HP is like a DR for 100%. I get one for only 40%. AND on a 1.5 min CD, not every 6s. And my Stone Bulwark? Shields are better, AND on a 6s CD. Not a 3 minute one.
Now. I beg you to stop and think for a minute WHY a class that can spam every 6s a skill that is just as good or better than ANY personal defensive in the game. Shields are even better than Pain Suppression of the Priests itself.
If you REALLY want balance with DR shields of Oracle Priest, then Ancestral Vigor has to give 50% or 60% of a player’s HP. Equivalent to the shields. THEN we can talk about “sticks on the ground” and what they do.
And FYI: In addition to shields, they give 3% DR to everyone with Atonement. I also get that. I give 3% DR to everyone with my earth-shield. Which is me, and 1 target. Which is usually the tank.
It used to be 9% DR. But it was “too OP”. So it got nerfed. But priest can put that on the whole party (instead of ONLY 1 party member + myself) and its OK. So Priests get a “free” devotion Aura, PLUS fortitude. PLUS double PS. PLUS PI. PLUS 6s shields… AND can heal as much as me in HPS department, AND can do double the DPS I can do.
Why the gutting of CJL for mistweavers? It’s wasn’t overperforming and makes questing even more tedious with the lower single target damage. Was there fun detected which caused an automatic nerf script to run?
