With the beginning of Season 3 raiding, dungeons, and PvP, we very quickly saw data that supported making tuning adjustments to a number of classes that are over- and under-performing. These adjustments will be implemented with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region (20 August in this region).
Classes
Mage
Fire
All damage dealt increased by 4%.
Flamestrike damage increased by 8%.
Paladin
Retribution
All damage increased by 5%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
Warlock
Affliction
All damage dealt reduced by 3%. Does not affect PvP.
Warrior
Arms
All damage dealt increased by 8%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
Player versus Player
The 2-piece bonus from equipping Gladiator’s Medallion and Gladiator’s Emblem now grants an additional 5% stamina in PvP combat.
Developers’ note: This is intended to slightly increase the time it takes to kill an enemy in PvP combat, to give players more time to react to incoming burst.
Death Knight
Anti-Magic Zone reduces magic damage taken by 30% in PvP combat (was 15%)
Frost
Deathbringer: Reaper’s Mark damage reduced by 25% in PvP combat.
Unholy
Death Coil damage reduced by 10% in PvP combat.
Druid
Balance
Whirling Stars reduces Celestial Alignment or Incarnation: Chosen of Elune duration by 30% in PvP combat (was 20%).
Damage of spells and abilities reduced by 4% in PvP combat.
Mage
Frostfire: Frostfire Bolt damage reduced by 13% in PvP combat.
Frostfire: Isothermic Core’s Comet Storm is called down at 150% effectiveness in PvP combat (was 200%).
Arcane
Sunfury: Arcane Soul now increases the damage of Arcane Barrage by 5% per stack in PvP (was 15%).
Fire
Hyperthermia’s stacking damage bonus to Pyroblast and Flamestrike reduced to 5% per stack in PvP combat (was 15%).
Rogue
Fatebound: Fatebound Coin (Tails) and Lucky Coin damage reduced by 33% in PvP combat.
It’s comical how affliction gets nerfed based on a council fight and the old 4p just boosting affli’s damage.Oh well,chatgpt couldn’t scan the data well enough to see it,who would’ve guessed

You brought class tuning, but you still haven’t fixed the hunter pet bug. Since the start of S3 we still can’t do M+ or progress, you are forcing us to re-roll
Why does it only Take one day of Paladin Players crying for Blizzard to give them a 5% buff, wihle BDK gets completly igroned by Blizzard for all of 11.2 Testing ?
Frostfire Bolt is not the issue. Frostfire Infusion does joke damage, procs too randomly and does not proc anything you can utilize or even notice under 0.2 milliseconds without overlapping many things.
crazy, the class discord from the retri palas closed as protest and they get a buff in return…now every other class discord can do the same

you just know this will end up in ddos’ing next time a class feels aggrieved that they arent in the top 5, when almost all specs are within 5% of the top.
even more hilarious that you buffed ret as a a whole, but piss all over other specs and pigeonhole them into one set of hero talents per spec.
All in all, you just tanked enthusiasm across the board for gamescom and midnight.
for hearld there were 8 specs below, and templar was simming on par with balance after the most recent buffs, but no we cant have the children unhappy, so lets buff them to the top 5.
No doubt you will silence me with the “system account on hold” jsut as you did back in remix when i pointed out how badly handled some of the things were, apparently you cant tolerate feedback.
Except 5% is next to nothing and our tier set is still bad.
Also this happens every single season and expansion. Ret is underperforming.
Give it a 5% damage buff.

I think its funny arcane get all the heat when zero nerf on retri or mm exists yet. Arcane is the only spec that has to setup their dmg, nobody lets you cast arcane surge, you need to setup the go and cast surge, then you have to ramp for barrage and press nether flux and theres all the time in the world on +10 sec interval for the mage to eat million ccs from everyone trying stop his go.
My MM hunter targets someone and presses 6-8mil black arrow, or explo shot and combo wombos instant aimed for 3-5mil crit and there is no setup needed or ramp up its just frontloaded dmg that keeps going on just any target you can hit really, takes zero thought process to do. Retri also presses buttons and frontloaded dmg flies 20y away and things die but everyone is so concerned about arcane that it’s the only thing I read about everywhere and seemingly blizz only keeps nerfing arcane but retri and mm go as they are.
This tells me multiple things really, for one not many ppl really know how specs work (helps to fight something if know how it works), and second tuning seems to really favour these easy designs as they keep buffing them season after season and nerfing the ones that take bit of setup and synapses

It also seems you have even said something same in arena related arcane what I said on my post which you replied to derail and insult, I hope you understand its harming you aswell if you undermine me on this, but perhaps you dont want to express concerns related its tuning then. This thread is named class tuning however, it would be the place to express them.
