Class Tuning Incoming – 27 November

Haha, I play BM or MM interchangeably and both are in the pits with seemingly no hope of redress. But buffing Ele Shaman…yeah, just fine.

Back in Blizzard HQ I think they just have a massive Wheel of Fortune which they spin to decide what they are going to buff and nerf this week. I bet they are lined up with their popcorn the moment this stuff gets posted

Yeah, I’d be there constantly pinching myself. Then notice that my coffee cup has turned into an elephant and wake up realising it was all a dream

these changes are minor and won’t save a dh from being weaker than any other class. Demon’s bites and blades is only one possible to choose so there is only 1 change not two and immolation aura + felblade are close-up and fury grind abilities they are not intended to do big damage even…what dh needs is buff to soulscar to make it good again so in the fillers we could use throwing glaves on different enemies as before and a buff to blade dance damage or chaos strike as main casted abilities now. No buff needed for eye beam or demonsurge, they are ok atm

So as a Hunter i must wait Season 2 with the hope of fixing the mediocre-bad design of the class both single and aoe target /s

You know there is a problem when my Warrior ,Pala and Dk surpass every hunter even 15-20 ilvl higher due the tools-performance has .

Why do keep destroying hunters? What’s the point to keep on playing. Haven’t seen one hunter out perform any class.

It’s so frustrating every single time…

Bottom 4 on warcraftlogs :

  1. Fire mage
  2. Affliction
  3. Feral
  4. Frost DK

Class buffed :

  1. Fire mage
  2. Feral
  3. Frost DK

Why why why ???
It makes no sense to leave out affliction again and again and again…

If you don’t want all 3 warlock spec to perform then nerf destruction or demonology and buff affliction so we (affliction lovers) can have fun for more than 2 months…

Yes cause every time affliction does damage or we get nerf or you buff so much the other 2 specs that in the end affliction is irrelevant…

You guys are clearly bad at balancing classes you never really think of affliction warlock for real… I feel like it…

Too little, too late

For real… class tuning shouldn’t be something that comes so late in the game expansion as this… Flipping the meta every patch like this is just frustrating.

One day your playing whats fun and you enjoy. A patch later your screwed. And up and down it goes.

I guess Brewmaster Monks simply doesn’t exist in their eyes, huh?

Inb4 copium shils: I know they perform well in raids. They suffer everywhere else tho.

The question is pretty much the same as usual… Why nerf classes in the middle/end of the season, when instead you can make the classes below them stronger? I literally rekt all 11 the second week, and it’s been 8 weeks that I’m having absolutely no fun and I have nothing else to do but do boosts because the 12+ are not fun and even a chore for a group of pugs. Just leave the strong classes and bring up the classes below, that’s all the players are asking for. Nobody gives a damn about the top 0.1% who will reroll on the new OP classes anyway.

This all isn’t even remotely related to balancing? That’s just a bad affix :man_shrugging:

Great, and the only ones who are really touched by this change is them. Nobody cares, let it just be and move on

We definitely agree on the choice of affixes which is bad. Now, can you really imagine Blizzard reworking the affixes during the seasons? They haven’t even listened to the players on the betas for some time (which are obviously more of a paid preview).

This is precisely not the case. Every time the meta changes, Pug players pay him much more than the top 0.1% who can adapt very quickly (because they play among themselves).

Besides that, Pug players who are already waiting for hours in the queue, will spend even more.

Indeed it is surely linked to a mentality problem, only as long as there are classes crushing others with such gaps, this phenomenon will exist. I tried to play something other than the meta, I ended up having to spend half my playing time or more looking at a crappy group search tool.

To make players want to invite all the classes, the solution to make them attractive is to buff them, it really makes no sense to do that, one month after already lousy balancing and one month before the end of the season.

But anyway, as usual, there’s always a lousy alt who has never played in mythical+ overall to bring it back to balancing, although for the moment it’s him who’s the only person not really concerned…

We ever planning on buffing brewmaster or shall we just ignore the spec exists at this point…

Waiting in line

Paladin is alot more than straight up damage profiles.

He is rly complaining about TANK DK’s on pvp my man have no dignity

Is it not about time to look at brewmaster monk if you gonna tune prot paladin, you may as well make some adjustments to brewmaster monk while at it since its at the bottom last time i checked.

At first, I thought this was for PvE and got happy, only to be disappointed that it was for PvP.

Havocs are on the edge of being extinct in M+, and I can’t believe how you keep ignoring this spec/class.

Buffing an already well-performing tank while ignoring Brewmaster and Guardian is an absolute joke.

That’s actually not “the solution”. For this to work we need to get rid of any statistics when it comes to top-M+ runs and their composition, ban all the WoW-M±related influencers and content-creators, get rid of the MDI, hard ban any and all tier-lists, and I forgot about a couple points here too…

The community perception is already not based on a lot of facts, and they copy something that’s not even relevant for them. Why would buffing other specs change that? That’s wishful thinking at its finest form. Not very constructive.

And it always makes sense to balance, as most players don’t care about the point in the season? They just want to play the game…

If you need to point to a character to support your opinion…it’s not a very good one to begin with.
