While you’re having fun in M0 soloing everything, M+ is another beast.
Anyone who says this is a positive change when it comes to tanks is a fool who most likely didn’t watch any tanks on the beta doing high keys or pay attention to feedback threads.
BRM was already the squishest tank spec, so squishy they buffed it’s HP by 15% only a few days ago and now they’re going to make BRM take more damage, this is literally a " tell me you don’t play your game " moment, not all tank specs are created equally and this will hurt BRM far more than it’ll hurt a prot warrior for example.
Also nerfing the tanks based on M0 data is ridiculous, high keys and raiding are a completely different matter and if the tank specs suffer from it, you’ll suffer from it, period.
People don’t play tanks because if the toxic, abusive and entitled (sizeable chunk of) players they meet. I’d love to play tank but no one needs to take dogs abuse for playing a game.
Blame the players not Blizzard for the long term tank shortage.
true in the last iteration they played around +18, 19 after the healer 40% nerfs. But ey they have the special m0 data from live servers now. lets nerf it 3 days before mythic raid and m+ opens
100% this. Nerfing tank survivability is so bad for the role.
Tanking is not about beeing the sole survivor. its about controlling the pulls, and managing the route of the dungeon.
Its not beeing stressed and panicked every second that you might die and wipe the group.
If tanks ended up the sole survivor, like you said, in the end they might have to die anyway cause its not effecient for them to solo a boss. But atleast as a tank you were having fun and learning the pull as your group died. Next time you pull differently, or at another tempo.

10% more damage taken doesn’t automatically mean “less fun” and “less tanks”.
What it caused was tanks to pull everything in sight.
And the bad ones did not bother to do anything else than body pull.
Lose aggro and wipe the group due to mechanics just stacking.
So tanks being more squishy is fine for me. And i main VDH.

So many bad tanks enjoying being op at the moment, hopefully this will driving them away from the role for a better experience for us all.
Seeing tanks walking around not caring or worrying about mobs hitting them from behind is a problem.
Chain pulling needs to be a challenge only the better tanks can perform, a monkey right now can solo a dungeon in a tank spec.

- Fel Synergy now causes Soul Leech to heal you for 15% of the absorption it grants (was 25%).
- Soul Leech now grants shields up to 5% of maximum health (was 10%).
- Demon Skin now increases Soul Leech’s absorption up to 10% of maximum health (was 15%).
Hm, They forgot they nerfed soul leech to 3% of damage already? (was 6%).
I’m playing demonology and my hardest hitting spells heal me for around 200-300. At 200k+ health, it barely makes my health budge. Now you want to reduce it even more? Oo

people arguing they needed a nerf because they pulled the dungeon and wiped the team dont understand this game and what a good tank is about. Of course a bfk could solo mythic anduin but it TAKES longer and another team could win in this time. Of course we can survive bigger pulls BUT if the team wipes because of a nasty debuff like those in uldaman the group wipes. A good tank knows exactly what he can pull. Tuning based on m0 is a joke. community tested months in m+ and it was hard sometimes! normal people did +10-15 mdi folks +20 and you nerfed the healers and buffed everything by 40% yeah this is noth enough lets nerf the tanks and the healer will struggle more! We tanks know this is a mistake and i will enjoy the threats on reddit and here grabbing popcorn and enjoy the sh$show. they nerfed us 100% because of asmongolds m0 clip on twitch. they always do when he shows some bugs glitches and stuff like that or wowhead has a new article.insta fix. compare prot warri with brw
And of course nerfing the tank means nerfing the whole group/game. People payed the 1 year sub so they can do whatever they want now. money is in the bank. First big L in dragonflight. That was fast 2 weeks after release
this is utter and complete bull*hit… there is already a tank shortage and now you decide to nerf them across the board! what exactly where you smoking when you came up with this garbage? Fun is not allowed in wow i forget that sometimes but come on! And nerfing assassin rogues when they are in need of the opposite? You ppl at blizz have no clue at all what this game needs, nor do you care, in the slightest.
Glad i didn’t renew my sub, sniffing the thick smoke from this dumpster fire is NOT good for ones health.
Regarding the tanks in pvp:
Why would you nerf ALL aspects of Guardian Druids rather than focus on the ones people are struggling with? I see that most people have problems with rage of the sleeper and maybe healing. DMG dealt is only a concern in BGs and even then 50% of the dmg guardians do comes from Rage of the Sleeper.
We do not have any rated season yet and I get that people are scared because they do not understand Guardian as a specc.
I just think this will overnerf Guardian. And because its not a class like Rogue, Mage or other PvP classes that always cry when they are ‘‘too weak’’… guardian will just be forgotten and not viable. Even though it was on the right track with some tuning.

Is it me, or did Demon Hunter Tanks get nerfed more than the others ?
Yeah their damage seems to get constantly nerfed cause of Havoc. Weird.
BM is officially dead for this season
BK may also have problems on higher keys.
Prot W is still broken and got the least nerf for some reason.
The biggest problem will be healers because the new dungs have a huge amount of unavoidable aoe.
I’m afraid it will end again with s1 SL what was probably the worst season ever.
