They note at disc buffs (Discipline only) like holy is too op now and couldn’t take the buffs too lol…
Would rly like to see some holy priest buffs.
Serenity heals nothing when a mortal wounds class sit on you target.
Renew is dispellable, cost a lot of mana, and isn’t affected by our mastery.
My suggestions, which would buff holy priest in both pve and pvp.
Make renew make use of our mastery.
Increase our healing on target with renew by 10% (renewed faith talent, up from 6%).
Increase renews base duration by 3 seconds (without increasing it’s overall healing).
Lower it’s mana cost by 20%
Would be very interesting changes, that would encourage to use renew much more.
It would also encourage to always have renew apllied on your main target, as it should be.
And even if it needs downtuning in base healing if it now benefit from our mastery, do that please. It feels so bad to cast renew with 30% mastery, knowing that it will not benefit at all.
Rn it’s almost only used as a filler in raids, and makes you go oom quickly.
Another huge issue I personally have is prayer of healing.
It. Is. So. Bad.
You have to hit 3+ target to make it worth the cost in pure throughput.
Sounds easy you think?
Well, it heals your main target, and the 4 players closest to your main target. Meaning you have close to no control over who it hits. If a full hp player is 0.1 yards closer to your main target than an injured player, he will get prioritised.
In a raid settings, it’s impossible to tell if you will get value out of a cast, so it’s almost better to use heal.
Even in high dmg sustain fight, I find this to be a problem.
My suggesting is 1 of these 3 (giving all would be op).
1; Let the way prayer of healing priority targets stay the same, but increase the number of players it can hit. I would say 7-8, maybe make it a split talent with one of the prayer of mending ones.
2; Simply just let it prioritise injured players, like circle of healing. Maybe decrease the range from the main target a little in this case, so you’ll still have to think when casting.
3; Let it stay as it is, but decrease the mana cost to match heal. Because that’s pretty much what it is worth in throughput rn.
This would be a very welcomed raid change. I have tried multiple prayer of healing builds so far, and I barely get more throughput, and the mana cost is through the roof.
This wouldn’t even put us on top of the food chain in all content, but it should make two spells that are historically significant to holy priest nice to press once again.
Holy priest don’t have a combat ress as it is now. Or… they actually kinda do. If you use the talent “afterlife” you can put yourself to rest, and cr an ally. My suggesting is, that if you play “afterlife” together with “restitution”, you should be able to ress another player, and live on yourself. That would be a cool way to grant hpriest a cr.
Last note, the talent where you gain apotheosis after x hits with prayer of mending (answered prayers) also kinda feels bad, since you rarely get value out of it. Would be nice if this was a split talent with something else (and only cost 1 point). Would also be cool if the proc reset all holy word cd’s like normal apotheosis, but that would probably be too op tbh
I have some baby experience about this. Created a new druid, planning to go for Balance. Well.
Cat form at this stage is very powerful, especially since switching forms to heal up ever so often isn’t an issue (compared to classic).
Whereas Moonkin form is extremely slow and limited. I should open with 2x Wrath to delay actual pulling, activating Eclipse, then applying Moonfire, then casting Starfire 2-4 times to finish off, totaling to quite a few seconds (15-18) to finish off a single target. As such, sticking to Wrath is better despite the two percentage buffs.
I don’t know if it’s an issue with early Balance levels, but comparing those 15 seconds to cat’s 5 and my high level frost mage’s 12, there might be some general tuning issue. Even considering that balance likely picks restoration talents (abilities) as well.
Boy, Blizz really want to push caster Mistweaver huh?
I’m ok with this, I just don’t think it’s going to compete with rdruid or prevoker without some proper rework.
Why is Revival so poor vs Rewind? Why don’t monks have a soothe yet? Help us out a little and throw us a utility that groups and raids actually want, rather than “knockback which may or may not be used once in the whole dungeon” and “its like sap but puts you in combat”.
Nice to see you guys doing more fixes more regurlarly instead of waiting forever. Keep it coming.
And the shadow priest again is in the bottom of the ocean u nerf it and leave it there … and ret pally get the buff again what a sh&t… at least buff the instant procs of mind spike and mind blast but you still don’t give a f u just want to take money for a bugged game
No.
This isn’t it.
You need to strike hard against the OP classes directly, harder.
This isn’t going to get fixed by that. You need to actually hit these abilities hard rather than messing around with trinkets. They’re still gonna be ridiculous.
Oh also:
Take frenzied regen off the GCD.
Nothing for Holy Priests? Looks like I’m going to have to learn Disc.
So still no comment on why DT is removed and not compensated with something better than what we get? And as expected with thought in mind to nerf UhDK you nerf FDK too…is it so hard to fix its physical mitigation?
Why are there no buffs to BM hunters? With out the bow from the LAST BOSS in a raid our ST is low. We have NO burst dmg, low aoe and if a mob looks at us we die, healers hate us in m+.
Changes seem fine, and buff to my main is always welcome.
However…
I think if you guys do not speed up talent changes this will be a very controversial expansion filled with constant balance struggle and frustration of the players.
Your old balancing philosophy cant work now, talents are way too unbalanced and some seem very badly done for you to take your old approach with “we will fix them in next patch”.
Fury warrior buffs are welcome, but that will not fix overall conflicting and contradicting talent tree that pushes you exclusively in Raging Blow build, and general lack of useful utility that is rly felt in higher keys, and PVP.
And its very weird that we do not see any single change to our talents. What is point of waiting?
Happy warrior ofc
You dont care that you overbuffed evoker…new class sells.i guess
Ooh, buffing flame shock you are?
Muh immortality against casters as DK is over, nice buffs for my main.
Just please don’t buff Mages, rogue and mage they are toxic classes, they must always stay A tier or something never S.
Ret nerfs are deserved, they do over 200k damage randomly with wings. Ele also does that from range which is accurate again.
Overall good changes, I would be happier if there was no unholy nerfs…
Thanks You Blizzard
Thanks blizzard for making frost even worse, can u hire some good guys?
Only nerf for unholy while nerf frost dk same time makes no sense.
You know if you do the math right, this fury warrior buff is around 4.5% increase in ST damage I would rather take a 5% increase in all abilities that the mages got so it also helps our aoe as well.
Fury is still in a weird spot in m+ at the moment. We’re target capped to 5 targets and severely lack group utility that gets us invited to group. We buff AP and bring Rally that’s about it and we class stack with the strongest tank. Groups are looking for BL, CR, Soothe, uncapped aoe, and aoe stops etc. Just because I’m impressed with the amount of changes doesn’t mean I’m satisfied with where we are at. Just makes me hopeful that they are paying attention.
I think complex classes should all be meta, the harder the class the more damage it can do. If you are unable to play at a high skill level then it is on you.
You shouldnt have to put in 50% more effort and they get the same results.
Can you show all these pvp-modifiers in game somehow because we have no idea what is nerfed by 70% in pvp???
