Can we talk about the fact that blizzard says « As we’ve now completed three weeks of The War Within Season 1, we have enough data and feedback on class performance to allow us to do a broad pass on outliers in dungeon, raid, and PvP play»
And then we can see disc is not mentiond a singel time!?? Like are we just ignoring the fact that 50% of top 100 is disc and 90% off games above 1600 is disc??? Like disc almost on the same dmg lvl as dmg dealer and spams shields the size of cacoon every 4 sec
Im not saying the changes were perfect, but we did see a buff to Tranquility and to Hpala.
I think that evens out the playingfield to some degree
This ‘X spec is OP pls nerf’ mentality really bugs me lately. Everyone is up in arms calling for nerfs to a dozen different specs, but think the game is a good state atm with how many specs actually see success. Why not buff the underperformers instead of constantly calling for nerfs?
Feral untouched, bm gets buffed, hpala gets nerfed in pve.
They’re either lying about the data and feedback or they are just straight out oblivious on how to read them.
If we actually want this, in my opinion it has to literally happen every week until the end of the expansion. Even twice a week perhaps. Mistakes from the past like letting a single class reign unchecked for more than a week absolutely must not happen.
Bonus fact, as of writing, I have been 25 mins in shuffle queue as a dps. I’m 0 CR on my dps atm.
But currently, there is no ‘single class reign unchecked’ but a bunch of specs that are all very competitive.
But yea, atm shuffle is capped at like 2150 MMR and placement games have really long queue times. From what I’ve heard, it’ll get a lot better once you’ve played a few games
eh… i dont think it is a buff, they got a nerf on the pvp talent what isnt noticeable, but also makes no sense to kill another feral pvp talent, what have been nerfed for 10x times already
and the Bloodseeker Vines change will be more likely a buff for m+ where u can rip 5 targets at once, because Wildstalker is really underperforming in m+
I don’t think it will make a big difference, because of pve purposes, maybe the chance is 1-2% higher, which is a huge buff for m+
i can be wrong tho because it´s blizzard, but i think it wont be noticeable
I hate it when Bladestorm hits like a wet noodle it becomes so unsatisfying to press
When i came back for TWW i was amazed how much BS can hit, it wasnt near the levels of Wotlk-Cata legendary Reckstorms (Recklessness-Bladestorm) but it was decent, you could definitely see it doing some actual threatning AoE in BG’s or even in Arena - something i havent seen for years.
And now its all continously gone.
I get it they’re still aiming to tune down burst AoE in PvE but is it worth it to kill all the fun of this class for it?
My advice to Blizz is to seriously consider removing Thunderous Roar entirely.
From PvE perspective its essentially the same button as Bladestorm (Powerful Burst AoE) what did you guys expect when you gave the option to choose both at the same time? Especially Fury who’s Bladestorm strikes twice as fast as Arms (yet Arms still receives those richochet nerfs lol)
From PvP perspective Roar is also a unnecessary additional button which you choose just because it provides more damage - its a boring design and there are plenty of such buttons already and nobody will miss it provided the missing damage will be shifted into other abilities of course.
Right now discs have no weakness they have so many things in same time
-Best healing of all healers
-Best toolkit of all healers
-Best damage of all healers
-Best mana of all healers
-Mistake friendly gameplay no other healer have this luxury, sometimes even small mistakes means lose, while disco priest can do and repeat major mistakes and still win.
In paesant words disc priest have sheep and money in same time.
Whats point to create somehting that strong in E-Sport game? When people wont respect anything whats done from players who play those classes.
Wildstalker: Chance for Bloodseeker Vines to grow on a single target is unchanged, but slightly increased when Rip and Rake are on multiple targets.
Wildstalker: Bursting Growth damage increased by 10%.
But Faveyo already explained this might not actually make much of a difference in PvP, so it’s probably just a misinterpretation on my part
Don’t really agree on disc having best toolset tbh.
Except for power infusion, a short range fear and a pretty dog 1 min root they don’t have anything good really…
Mind control is a double cc which really just makes it a bad cc 90% of the time lol
