I agree with you and actual perfect balance would be detrimental. However, the situation we currently have is both unforgiveable and unsustainable. Everyone knows why it occurs like this, it has nothing to do with the inability to balance classes so that they are within reasonable dps limits of each other.

We are seeing a 20-30% damage differance from top to bottom spec on raid lists consistantly the balance is not that bad.
Before Legion these numbers was in the 70-80% difference yet people then played specs they liked more.

I disagree here balancing the specs is much more complicated then it looks on the surface.
As an example, if your spec has cooldowns on 3min cooldown compared to 2min cooldown the length of the fight matter on how high your personal damage will look like on the fight.
This is what assasin needs
- Buff energy regeneration (spec feelt more fluid with “lucid dreams”)
- Mastery overlooked (buffed or reworked)
- Buff damage
- Right now we dont really get any value from “garrote from stealth benefit” like the silence and more damage, now we only get any vallue in the opener and as a assa we dont really get any restealth, what can we do here? 2 x vanish?
- Remove SND 10% energy reg and make it baseline to the specc
- Buff the shiv damage.
- Should vendetta still be “applied” to a target?
Where is the mw buff???

Demo don’t need a buff, what data tells you they do?
The fact that they basically don’t exist in pvp ? Check any big warlock content creator and they will clearly tell you that lock is a two specs class in pvp.

I think it is about time that specs like Fury Warrior, Arcane Mages, or Beast Mastery hunters slowly started to become something of use.
But they won’t, hence the complaining. It requires more than a 3% buff to raise from a 30% disadvantage.

As i said above, it doesn’t matter if they buff Demo dmg by 1000%, the fact the class takes like 120 seconds to ramp up is just jank, it doesnt work period point blank (in pvp at least)
It needs an overhaul like 80% of the specs in the game.
This flat buffs are so inefficient, for example beast mastery hunter have a great problem in aoe damage so its aoe damage need a great buff vs. its single target damage. This also applies to all other classes buffed.
You need to buff the spells, flat buffs are so stupid. I’m very disappointed because of the bad job you are doing with class balance. I’m not having fun anymore because fire mages do 70-80k of aoe dmg(see on youtube) and many other classes 10-15k, but also MM hunters, Balance druids etc. do a great dmg and other classes/specs not, this is really boring and and forces us to play classes/specs that we don’t enjoy.
I hope you will do a better job in the future, a near future…
You can kinda make it work with a burst built based on the interaction of decimating bolt and demon bolt but it still need buffs to make it more than just “working.”
It would be much more useful to actually do targeted buffs, not just tiny flat increases.

Blanket buffs do absolutely NOTHING to fix issues.
Suggestions for PvE:
- WW monk Spinning Crane Kick needs to be less CLUNKY to use. It’s fine when you’re fighting outdoor mobs that do zero damage, in every other environment, especially when targets are constantly on the move (M+ mainly), constantly switching targets is more trouble than it’s worth.
- WW monk and Brewmaster monk low single target damage - just buff Tiger Palm/Blackout Kick dmg properly.
- Enha shaman lack of single target dmg - just buff Flametongue/Windfury weapon buffs. THEY’re ALREADY missing out on weapon oils, make it worthwhile
- etc.
Suggestions for PvP:
- Fear, Sap and Polymorph need to go on cooldown (AT LEAST if they successfully CC someone) to bring them in line with the rest of the classes. Being spammed with CC every few seconds is not fun in the slightest
- Rogue 100% dodge for 10 sec ability should instead be “50% dodge 50% spell deflect chance” as being literally impossible to hit by half the classes in the game for full 10 seconds is just ridiculous.
- Paladin bubbles need to last 6 sec at best.
- BM hunter and SV hunter need some of the MM’s CC arsenal for themselves too. Right now BM has zero burst, zero hard hitters and barely any CC (compared to MM who has like 3-4 more).

It’s incredible that players know what’s the problem and Blizzard not.
Please, make Glacial Advance a baseline for fdk. What do I do with all that runic power, for gods sake?.. no one asked for frigging lazy raw damage boost, just make specs more optimal, put more thought into them.

Under staffed over worked and underpayed, yeah i would do a bad job also in such case, and honestly i would not blame the person in charge for that, but anyone can see demo and at same spot as destro and yet they only buff destro, and there more specs that need buffs to.
5 % buff for Desstro is a joke, thats not far enough !!!
These buffs for Survival are simply not enough. They are just a lazy band-aid that misses the problem and ignores the fact that scaling is bad so they will eventually drop back down to the bottom.
The problem is pure single-target, aoe is pretty strong. And right now we are simming more than 15% less than marksmen at 210+ ilevels, so a 5% buff is simply not enough. And no, the solution isn’t to straight up buff all abilities by 10 or 12 percent instead.
On top of the 5% buff, you need to buff Raptor Strike’s and Kill Command’s attack power scaling by at least 10%. This would equate to about a 4% dps increase, which would bring our dps to the middle of the pack, but more importantly it would address the scaling issues that caused this large gap to form in the first place.
sooooo… you want to tell me that assa has problems with energy - % flag will help that? Are you serious?
Also Demon Hunter issue is not damage as that one is not so bad, the problem is WHOLE CLASS DESIGN. And also removed survivability from it which makes him quite easy to take down compared especially to some top utility melee classes like Warrior Arms
Also lack of nerfs for likes of Warrior Arms in PvP, Monk WW or buffs to pointless specs like Monk MW is still troubling. Especially that this “balance patch” will make Warrior Arms even stronger in PvP (where he clearly is best of melee classes now by far) and Balance is still insanely strong.
THis helps some classes that have good class design but too low dmg (Frost DK, Frost Mage, Shaman Enh, Warlock Destro, Warrior Arms, Warrior Fury) but for rest it is rather terrible attempt at doing so
And the worst situation is for DPS in PvE still, where Fire Mage is probably the only one that can pull off 100k DPS due to uncapped spells.
