Balancing is going in the right direction. But lets maintain focus on some of the classes that are still doing far too good:

  • Feral Druid
  • MM Hunter
  • Devoker

An MM Hunter complaining about a Frost Mage is wild.
You literally can’t find a better class and specc to deal with a class that has already been nerfed.

Frost Mage has been nerfed after. According to Drustvar, the popularity and rating of the specc has also fallen.

But that doesnt change the fact that Frost Mage was nerfed, and its been a major theme of several streamers meta discussion.

I have 10 lvl 80s at this point. Frost Mage is one of them. My main is a Rogue.

You will need to be more specific at where you got this information. When I shuffle around the various Drustvar statboards, Frost Mages move around a lot.

Drustvar, 3v3 arena eu, scroll around top 5000 and top 1000 for ranged specs

It is on 3rd place, behind shadow priest and affli lock, even at second place in top 1000.

Solo shuffle eu, 1800+, first place among ranged specs.

And there are plenty of those statboards that dont have Frost Mage as high as many other speccs. What you are doing here is called bias, where you handpick data that supports your thesis and ignore the rest. It is considered bad scientific practice to do such.

You can choose between EU/US, you can choose between Top 100, 500, 1000 or 5000, and you can choose if it should be BG Blitz, 3v3, 2v2 or solo shuffle. Out of all these, you get tons of different permutations. 40 To be exact. So you can combine these 40 ways (ignoring the addition of rating requirement too), so why is the exact combination (EU/US, 3v3/1800+ Solo and Top 5000) the most correct one? There are plenty of these that have other classes with much more insane positions, disc priest comes to mind. So again, why is the hand picked combination here the correct one above all the others?

To answer yours: I can handpick a combination too.

  • Solo Shuffle / US / 2100+ Rating: Frost Mage is nr. 13, only 6% of Ladder, otherwise heavily dominated by Shadow Priest, Affliction Warlock and MM Hunter.

I’m not saying this is the true colors, but I am saying that Drustvar is misleading when you use it like you did.

Frost mages dominating in EVERY game mode on eu, you are in denial here.

Unless US is playing a different version of WoW than EU, you can’t just say “whatever is happening on US is false, only EU is the truth.”

This is pure copium, you are playing on eu with eu playerbase, which is considered as most skillfull. And here, frost mages dominating every game mode except maybe 2v2.
