Why does Universal world defense channel don’t works ?
I could understand on server with more than one layer, but i did test on Bloodfang server that don’t have layers and it’s still not working ?
Can you fix that ? It’s an important feature of wow vanilla.

The World Defense channel does exist but serves as mostly to notify you of friendly NPC’s being attacked across the world. To join it, simply right click your chat tab and choose settings. From here, swap to the Global channels tab and click Join channel.
You will not have permission to chat as this was tied to your Honor Rank. WoW classic has phases and the honor system isn’t in this one. If you want to know more about classic phases there’s a fantastic break down on WoWhead.

Right now, there is no notification, even when npc are under attack.
I’m aware than the right to talk is tied to the honnor rank, but we should be able to be notified of attack regardless of rank.
The notifications are not working at all - I’ve not seen a notification that’s not within the zone I’m currently in, and I’m playing on a pvp server. Even if attacks are being reported in trade, there is no sign of them in world defense.
I don’t think anyone wants to talk in the channel, we just want the automatic notifications back, otherwise there’s no point of it being there at all.
It was my favourite tool to use before it was removed in retail, and I had such great hopes of WPVP becoming fun again with it in Classic. It’s one feature that’s just essential. Please restore it, at least when layering goes out.
