Hello! I’m uncertain whether this is the right place to post the issue, but to begin with. I’ve returned to Classic since SoD launch in 2023 to play on the 20th Anniversary servers. However, I’ve noticed an issue where the chat font is significantly smaller than usual (Upon which I confirmed via screenshots I’ve taken during SoD early days)
Here’s a screenshot of the present-day from 20th Anniversary server:

Here’s a screenshot from last year during SoD first weeks with the usual chat box font:

If you view the screenshots in fullscreen, you’ll notice how small the font is right now to me, which is pretty annoying and eye-straining in comparison to the chat font I’m used to from SoD and prior.
Methods that were taken to fix the issue but didn’t work:
- Disabled all addons
- Setting the font size to 14 (Default font size)
One thing to note is that in both screenshots, the font size is set to 14 (Again, default font size for WoW) yet there’s clearly a difference. As such, I’d appreciate any support in fixing this issue.
#Update - The fix
After writing this post, I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall the game again, and it actually worked! The chat font is back to normal.
