Hello this is my first WOW PTR because i want to try the HC gameplay.
I downloaded the WoW Classic Era PTR but when i launch it the Dragonflight PTR starts up.
Have i done something wrong?

No, you haven’t done anything wrong. It’s Blizzard who did.

It seems not to be active yet but since it’s initiated from the US then you may need to wait until later in the day when they get out of bed. They are 7 Hours or so behind.
I think it will probably say “WoW Classic Hardcore (or HC) PTR” when it’s available.
Depend on the time zone. East coast is 6 hours behind CET, California, where I belive they are, is 9 hours behind.
Nope, East is 5, central is 6 and west is 7 behind UK time. Hawai’i is 10 I think.
Edit: changed Hawai’i time.
I have close friends in California, and I lived there. It’s 9 hours. Hawaii shows at 12 hours behind CET. Remember that we are on daylight saving times, so is the USA. The GMT as it’s often referred to do NOT change to daylight savings. So CET is now 2 hours before GMT, instead of 1 in the winter. Also Hawaii is 10 hours behind GMT in the summer.
Though California is the one that matters and that is 9 hours 50 weeks of the year, (they change 1 week after Europe),

I may have forgotten to add BST to my UK time version I think you are right, sorry.
But still if it’s 9 hours CEST then it’s 8 hours BST as the UK is one hour behind CEST.
Time in the UK is now 15:22 and Los Angeles is 07:22.

I love how they gave absolutely no exact ETA other than the fact that it is today 
it just changed for me to 1.14.4
1.14.4 here too but cannot start it, no respones on clicking “Play”

I guess since it (the “WoW Classic Era PTR” -item) launced Dragonflight earlier, this is the wrong build anyway. As Dottie said some post up, it might be a new version saying “HC Classical PTR” when its available.
Why don’t I see any available versions of ptr? Even Dragonflight?
Inside your Battlenet Account on there website under Games & Subscriptions you can make a ptr account.
If you have done this the ptr options should apper in the app. (you might need to restart it)
