Same, both PvE and PvP PTR Classic Realms show as “incompatible” for me, no idea why
There has been an update yesterday around 23:00 CET, since then realms are showing as “Incompatible” and when I try logging in I get this error message:
You have been disconnected. (WOW51900223)
I have followed the steps from this article, but it didn’t solve the issue for me: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/64366
We have planned some testing sessions for Wednesday evening. Any ETA as to when this will get addressed?

It’s worth noting that the PTR for Classic follows the same principles as our other PTR’s in that it is a testing environment. This means the servers can become unavailable at any time without prior warning, they can be rebooted regularly and there could be instances where it crashes out.
As there was an announcement recently of Zul’gurub being made available soon, there could be updates pending for the PTR. Make sure your desktop app is set to update itself automatically for the PTR client so you can be sure to get the update as soon as it’s available.
I realise that this post does not offer you any fixes or such for the problem but I just wanted to highlight that the PTR is a testing environment and therefore not always available.
