Classic PVP is not Actual PVP

Good Afternoon ,

The reason i am making yet another thread about this is because : I see a lot of players including myself in-game complaining about the issues . And i have seen many related or similar threads/posts/comments on the forum as well .

One of the main issues is of course that WotLK PVP is not only player vs player combat .
Especially after a certain time , lets say 2 am .
After that time the game is filled 80% with bots if not more…
Those bots do about 300-500 dps at best. sometimes even a lot less, sometimes they do
like 30 k damage in 25 minutes…

You can imagine that even before game starts you already know it is a loss when your facing a team with all REAL players and half of your team is filled with those bots …
Especially if you are horde this is a major problem , you can get into a teams with bots game after game after game ,and so on … A game where you cant even get out of the graveyard,and getting spawnkilled.
Worst thing is when you leave a horrible game like that the game punishes you with deserter as well ,lol
So you can imagine when that happens game after game that the best thing you can do is log off right ? Not doing the population any good ,and then even more bots will come if players log… It is a vicious circle.

What i do not understand is , why is it so hard to kick these bots out ? I mean if i need to go to toilet real bad ,and my toilet is literally next to my pc almost… Then i get kicked out for inactivity … while i am a real player…

And those bots dont even get kicked out when every1 reports them as bots / cheaters …
The system should rather kick those bots out for inactivity ,and not players for going to the toilet for 1 minute.

Also i experience a lot of bugging macro’s . Sometimes they work but sometimes they bug out. In PVP you cant have that …
Especially my characters who use a lot of macro’s like hunter ,druid are occasionally having issues with it . And when macro bugs usually it means instant death in PVP if you are a feral druid or survival hunter.
Classes that i barely use macro’s for like my dk doesnt have issues of course.
And i am sure the macro’s work ,cause they worked in retail as well .
I copy/pasted them from there .
And most of the time they work , it is just like 1 in 20-30 times that it fails .

The bots pay sub, and cash is the only language blizzard speaks.

I completely agree with you, the bots are ruining the game experience. But since very few leave the game because of the bot problem, it wont be taken seriously.

Imagine if 50% of the playerbase left withing 2 days, because of bots, how fast do you think blizz would act:P?

Some even like the bots, since the AH becomes cheaper because of it.

Even when you have actual players on both teams, it’s not actual pvp, it’s an unbalanced clusterfrack.

If you want actual pvp, go play retail.

When I’m playing Rogue, it literally doesn’t matter if the DK is a player or a bot. Both just as easy.

To be honest, most bots are DKs because they were just that easy to code in human-like combat behavior.

Totally agreed on that . That is why some classes/specs in classic battlegrounds are very over represented , and others are very under represented .

They keep messing with all the abilities ,and they are not doing a very good job on it.
These things have consequences for the gameplay and for the class / spec people choose to play as well.

Also the game gets boring more easily if you keep fighting the same spec/class everytime . It is the variety in classes /specs that makes the game more interesting .
Class balance contributes to more balance in what people choose to play

Err…just as bad, but this time the players act like bots. Last time PVP was anything like PVP was in MOP imo

Yes. Retail PvP is as bad as Wrath PvP.
Cata and especially MoP had peak PvP gameplay.

Alot of people seem to have forgotten how broken mop pvp was there were 3k raiting monks solo queing 2s and winning
