Since the maintenance overnight, all Classic Era realms are showing incompatible. I did all the usual fixes, right down to a full clean install of the launcher and game. No joy. I checked with guild mates on Wrath, and they are having the same issue. All Classic Era realms are incompatible, but my client says it is fully up to date.
Thanks for creating the topic. I have a similar issue, and I have installed the game client and deleted all registries on my computer. I updated every driver I had and reinstalled, but so far, the realm still says incompatible
Hello, I’m suffering from the same problem. I camped for Spiteflayer in Blasted Lands, logged in at around 2:48 am to get him (was lucky). I logged out about 2,5 minutes before the server shutdown. This morning (7 am) I wanted to check if everything persisted (I remember rollbacks of a couple minutes back in vanilla) but all servers were incompatible. What I tried to fix the problem:
Restarting Battle Net App
Uninstalling Battle Nep App (via windows deinstallation) but without deleting the Battle.Net Tools folder. Restarted the computer, then reinstalled Battle Net App.
Uninstalling the game and deleting all remaining addons with eraser (single overwrite of deleted data). Uninstalling Battle Net App with erasing Battle.Net Tools folder. Restarting the computer. Reinstalling Battle Net App. Reinstalling the game. Didn’t work either.
Resetting the user interface (renaming Cache, Interface and WTF folders to …Old)
Repairing game files.
Checked for Config.wtf whether my region (SET portal) was accidentally changed, but it is still correctly shown as EU.
Alas, nothing has worked for me.
I can login into wotlk classic, so the problem is limited to classic era.
