Noooo don’t ruin my amusement pls. I have been hoping for Classic to do well, not interested in playing it tho.
But the fact its really coming to light just how… well… toxic the community is. Makes me glad they are over there… you know… away from me 
Ganking and stuff fine w/e… no real biggie… But the forum is a cesspool. And yes, ngl it is kinda entertaining.
There is usualy like 2-3 missplaced threads about classic in general, maybe 4 if we count this one too as it is also not about retail at all…

I mean to be fair, Classic -does- have its own separate section, which you need never look at or see notifications about. The problem arises when every now and then one of them has a bit too much sugar for breakfast and rushes over to the Retail forums and starts waving their wang and screeching about how Classic is amazing and Retail is awful. Which, does kind of give a negative, and jaundiced view of the maturity levels on the respective versions of the game. Rather amusing quote I heard, from someone who used to be very Pro-Classic on these forums before it was announced, on Hydraxian Waterlords (I managed to stick with Classic for about a day longer than they did) “Thats it, I’m done, I’m out, I was wrong, it was nostalgia, I knew it was a 15 year old game, I wasn’t expecting a game full of 15 year olds!”
Hyperbole, to be sure, but these do tend to be the over excitable younger Classic players who pop over with regularity and try to rain on other people’s parades…
I dont talk about missplaced threads i talk about threads from classic as whole, which i can see in new/top topics.
And this is for sure retail topic bcs forums belong to retail. If we take example from reality, whole real world have problems with illegal migrants, we have here people from Classic, which disturb our forums and our 
,peace´´ and i dont like it to adapt to them. . .
We have simple solution, so why not do it . . .
Idk what you talk about but u go “wow forum => general discussion” go now and count how many from those threads are about classic.

Seen this, but its like a rare sight to me, i hang around the latest section and i rarely see this, but it’s there!

I go on forum and i want new or top topics from retail (on that top buttons) and i should not be forced to search in subforums bcs of classic.
I used plural bcs it is not only my opinion if you go through forum these conflict between retail/classic players are everywhere and its only bcs they just went into our space, into our forums and play another game which dont belong here.
Ignoring is just another adapt to situation and again i do not want to adapt to somebody who is on my/ours yard.
Or if some people went on to your land and start to live there you will just ignore/adapt/welcome them or you try to get rid of them?

But mate! WoW classic and WoW retail share a sub so it makes sense they share a forum website with separate sub sections!!
Plenty of people play both games. They are both versions of WoW!
You can’t kick out classic players when they pay the same sub retail players do. What you can do (and I’m sorry if this sounds harsh) is act like an adult and ignore the threads that don’t interest you because they are for the classic version of WoW. Just like I ignore the threads about m+ because I don’t have an interest in m+, I don’t call for all m+ players to be kicked onto their own forums or sub forum.
I gave you a reasonable solution, others have given you reasonable solutions, at this point you are choosing to be annoyed by a non issue you can easily overcome.
