Classic should have their forums

Everytime for past few months, you can see spam from Classic and everytime it is the same story. Cry about changes or about imbalance of factions.

Can we have our own forums for tru WoW (retail) and separate forum for that short time retro event named classic?

So i click on top topics and must scroll through 20 topics which are not connected to game which i play on forum for this game. It is very annoying.

So?
There are morons on both sides of the isle.
That doesnā€™t mean we have to build a bloody wall between us.

Just visit the sub fora that you care about. Generally the ā€˜top topicsā€™ are rubbish topics anyway.

Or is there a way somewhere in setting or something to not be able to see Classic forums?

Just little option which subforums you want see or not.

This should solve this problem.

Iā€™m not gonna deny that building a wall to deter them was a thought I had for some time now but then I realized no mater how annoying classic wow players that spam retail forums how they are superior best solution is to ignore the loud classic trolls.

The problem can be solved by simply not visiting them. Why do we need functions to ā€œhideā€ forums you dontā€™t want to visit if you can simply not visit them? I feel I am missing an important point here, so just trying to understandā€¦

Of course we have to. Being called a noob by these players who are spamming in spells in 1 mechanic raids is pathetic.

You see the problem with your idea of giving classic WoW it own forums on a separate website is that some people play both classic and retail and both games come under one sub price so it makes more sense to have retail and classic sub forums on one wow forum site.

If you donā€™t want to see classic posts you can just (and this is gonna blow your mind) stay on the retail section and if anyone does start a classic discussion over here you can mute the topic so you donā€™t see it.

The moderators are quite good at moving topics to where they belong though and tbf most classic discussions that happen here are either not that bad or kinda do belong because they are comparing retail and classic and opening dialogue, and as grown ups we can ignore them if we donā€™t want to join in

Itā€™s not aboot topics, itā€™s aboot answers. Fortunately, these trolls calmed down. But I still think there was a divorce between these 2 communities.

So i just go on forum. Click TOP and looking for interesting Topic names. I find something interesting and then again when i read like 3rd answer i find out im on Classic subforum.

This happened to me soo many time past last few months. I just forget to look on right on which subforum it is and i dont see any reason to be forced to keep watching this. Classic is just different game and should not be here.

When i read newspapers there will not be news about things which happend 15 years ago through half (or maybe more now) of that press . . .

I just want see top/new and every other topics only for retail.

So options are option hide subforums or give classic their own NEW forum . . .

Ok I donā€™t know if this will work but go to the classic sub forums and find button that lets you toggle between watching, tracking etc and there is a mute option click that on all the classic forums and see if that does what you want???

That was great idea. Sadly i still can see them. Maybe i will not see new ones in future, who knows

orā€¦you could click on the retail forum and THEN click on top? then you only see retail topics, i dont really understand whats so hard about all of this.
