So we will be able to move our toons to TBC or leave them to vanilla and create new ones to tbc. What will you do?
Neither, played Vanilla and TBC when they were current, no need to do them again.

They should do a character wipe and start it fresh and keep classic vanilla on the side capped at 60

I am guessing they’ll be kept separate, but there’ll be the option to transfer character over from Vanilla to TBC. That or it’ll be a fresh start.
I know the puritans would want Vanilla to remain Vanilla.

Yes that is what they are doing, it’s been confirmed.
Confirmed how so? Don’t recall an official announcement for TBC, which they’d do at this coming Blizzcon-line.
Mark my words, it’s coming this weekend. (it has been leaked like the new evil anduin, mega dungeon and stuff in 9.1)
I’m gonna level a separate character on Classic specifically for TBC and leave my old one on Classic. I think I will be going to a PVE server this time too, having groups of players controlling zones and being an annoyance is not worth the time wasting on a PvP server and I’ve realised that after playing that way the first time.
Level Fury Warrior, max blacksmithing, make Drakefist hammer, farm hourglass, Karazhan, Gruuls, Magtheridon. Can’t wait.

Making a Belf so not an issue for me but in future I would continue to move through.
This is what me and my friends plan to do.
People ruined classic so much for us (world buff meta and everything that came with it) and we just want to enjoy TBC in our own casual little way.
The only thing I will mourn is my perfect name

It’ll be the same with tbc most likely. No world buffs though.
There was a leak of press-release material.
All information about the new patch, raid, dungeon and Classic TBC is already out there.
Of course. But we’re hoping with reduced raid size we can stay in our little bubble a little easier and not pay attention to people doing that stuff 
We decided there’s probably more likeminded people on a pve server.
I just want to ignore all the sweaty people this time. It really ruined classic for me big time, to the point I ended up just quitting, which was super sad.
So much this ,they destroyed classic …you want to dungeon you had to be warrior mage or priest for fast runs its just as bad as retail now its all googogoogogoogogoggo and just as toxic .

If they purge/reset World of Warcraft (what you call Classic), I will be officially disconnected from the game and use my hatred to create my own things.
Seems to be confirmed as;
" * Choose Your Era – Prior to Burning Crusade Classic’s release, WoW Classic players can decide whether to advance each of their characters to the Burning Crusade era with the rest of their realm, or to continue playing the original WoW Classic content on new Classic Era servers."
From the spoilers leak on Wowhead, which seems legitimate.

My opinion
Classic =/= orginal vanila
new TBC=/= orginal TBC
Why: because they run on last “balance” patch where content is alredy nerfed so anyone can do a kills, so they are basicly nerfed orginal easy mode, accomplishment in them are fake and illusion due this.
